The Rangers have it too easy. The Empire should win, and they should do it in style.
I don't really have the right information to make my own canonical quest for the cause. I don't know what's going on, really. And the mission board only has Rangers-oriented quests.
So this thread is looking for some mission board-esque suggestions and then following a recruitment for one of those suggestions. This will be a good deal for you if your character likes money and doesn't care about good, justice, or all that jazz.
