Corone War: The Refugees

Alright, this is an EMPIRE ONLY quest, in which I will accept 2 people, maybe 3 if the third has a good enough reason to join, here's the synopsis:



The Refugees - GM: Silence Sei - Status: Recruiting
Since Xem’Zund’s invasion of Raiaera last year Corone has experienced an influx of Elves seeking refuge from the conflict. Their stay here may be permanent by human standards, for even with the defeat of the dark necromancer Raiaera is a land of danger and turmoil. Since then High Elves have gathered in a handful of enclaves throughout Corone, the most notable of which is Salchost (The Grass City) located in the grasslands just east of Radasanth. It mostly consists of women, children, and elderly, but it’s population numbers in the thousands, and some of them must be capable of waging battle. Go to Salchost with a promise of the Empire’s support in taking Raiaera back (whether its true or not is none of your concern), and muster up a supplement force for the main Imperial Army.

So who's in for working for the 'Bad Guys'?

Gothic, you are aware that your character will be question with one of the most lawful characters on althanas, right? If that's cool, then you can be in too.

Would it be the likes of a Paladin, a priest? A lawful cannot harm me if I don't bring any evil upon them, right? Killing these elves would be a part of my duty.

I will be posting a vignette to introduce them to this GM'd quest in the next day or so, to set the scene.

There you are gentlemen, my introduction. It is somewhat, long, granted, but I hope it is an entertaining read and leads in from Swansongs & Madrigals nicely.

Leopold is a conjuror and a psychic, able to hide his own thoughts (and those of others) using a negating field that is an extension of his own ability. He can create copies of organic material, too, but is otherwise just a dab hand and a cad and a bit of a know it all smarm.

Hahaha, unfortunately I didn't do that...all my shit is gone; porn, music, images, writing, all of it. Thankfully I'm lucky enough to be friends with someone who's certified to work with computers and has multiple degrees and he fixed this fucking dinosaur.

Well hopefully it doesn't set you back too far on all your stuff. Sorry to hear it's all gone though. I'm going to be gone (or at least unable to write) basically all weekend: party tonight and back to back birthday celebrations with friends on Saturday/Sunday. The first chance I'm even going to have to look at the forum is Monday, so if we end up ready to go by that point, just keep that in mind in terms of my activity. I can usually put something together pretty quick, though.

Honestly, if he doesn't think he has the time for the thread and that it'll be a pervasive issue, I think we should go on. If this is a one-time deal then I'm okay with waiting, but I really don't want to do a long delay every time it's one person's turn.

But since the decision is not unianimous, and despite how many rewrites I now have to do since Dan was vital to what I had planned, I guess Mr. Slayer is out.

Finally managed a post that I liked. If anybody has a problem with the ways I bunnied their characters, then please don't hesitate to let me know. I figured Ruby could bring us to the meeting spot at Concordia in her post, TR goes ahead with his introduction to the group, and then Godric has plenty to go off of.

Any questions, feel free to ask me. Lets try and go for a score of 70-80 here guys, so we can pull out a surprise win for the Empire.

Oh it's no problem, I was just under the impression that your post would have the main party ending up at the destination, and I thought it might include my character as well. As it stands, I can speak with Sei and figure out where a good place would be for Valor to meet up with the rest of the group. Once we've worked that out, I can get a post up pretty quickly.
