Name: Ellenora Sekuerba Pope
Coronian alias: Ellen Pope
Race: Haidian Vampyre
Age: Ancient
Occupation: Nest Mother of Liberi Nocturna Tribe

History: Ellenora is among the eldest of the Ancient Vampyres. Although to this day a gruesome variety of flesh craving and blood-drinking creatures inhabit the many levels of Haidia, the Vampire race is unique in their ability to control territory, to band together, and to infiltrate the humans who deign to live above. The oldest and most honourable of their race are given the title of Vampyre, and Ellenora is one of the most feared, and therefore most known, of these ancients.

She has been quietly infiltrating all levels of Coronian society since her youth in the Nomadic era. For many years she served as a counsellor and overseer for the Demon Hordes, and after their great loss gathered a group of her closest kin and retreated to the depths of the caves. For hundreds of years she increased her influence, ruthlessly cutting away those who failed to serve her with worship and absolute dedication.

Only recently has Ellenora ventured back to the surface of Corone, but she is pleased with the chaos of the humans who attempt to control the lands. Although her time is constantly limited, members of her tribe have infiltrated close to influential positions in all major cities. As the Nest Mother gains power and fully awakens to the world, her children will be ready to take what is rightfully theirs.

Appearance
Eyes: Black
Hair: Black with blue tint
Skin: Palest White
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 145 lbs.

Seen for her true self, Ellenora is all pale skin, bony contours, and sinewy muscle. However she covers herself in a plethora of disguises, and her long, luxurious black hair and deep dark eyes make her a beauty by any standard.

Traits: Ellenora's skin will burn if exposed to direct sunlight for more than a few minutes, and sunlight can prove lethal if exposure is prolonged. She is generally more comfortable in dark, cool areas. She sees in darkness as a human in light, and in light as a human in darkness, and despite rumours that her kind can fly, is candidly known to fear heights worse than any pain or suffering. Ellenora favours fine wine and food but the only sustenance she requires is a pint of fresh blood per day. In order to turn a character into a vampire, she must drain them to the point of death and then bring them back with a few drops of her own blood.

Abilities

Vampyric Presence: Ellenora constantly exudes a pheromone which makes her seem like a desirable sexual partner to any human or elf who falls prey to it. High level characters with great strength of will, or characters with no sense of smell, may be immune.

Regeneration: Ellenora heals at a rate approximately two times faster than Coronian humans. This makes her immune to ordinary doses of most poisons, and makes it unlikely from her to bleed out or die from grieouvous injury. It is this ability, common among the vampyre, which created myths of them being immortal save a few special methods.

Antimagic: Ellenora is capable of channelling a small amount of this dark force straight from the power of her Deities. It appears as an obsidian heatless fire, but true to its name it tends to react in a volatile manner when encountering forces of the Eternal Tap. Antimagic may dissipate, deflect, or weaken projectile attacks depending on their power, and assist in defending against many magical attacks/effects. Antimagic can only come into contact with living creatures, so it cannot be used to deflect physical attacks except those involving the enemy's person (martial attacks).

Antimagic may be used offensively, cast in bolts or orbs. An antimagic projectile does similar blunt force damage to a heavy stone thrown from a sling, but the true offensive value lies in its ability to disrupt the victims use of their magic abilities. The exact effect of an antimagic attack on a PC is entirely up to them, though it would not usually exceed a temporary difficulty using magic. Because antimagic only interacts with magic, other antimagic, and living creatures, these projectiles can seldom be deflected or blocked. They can of course be evaded, and certain materials such as root walker husk, sung wood, liviol, and icemold are known to interact with antimagic.

Skills: Ellenora has been a temptress across the ages, and has spent thousands of years finding ways to cause all manner of men and women both pleasure and pain. This makes her a dangerous succubus but also an expert of physical and psychological torture. She is stealthy both by nature and in the manner she conducts herself amongst her peers, and is rarely found without a friend (or large group of friends) to provide her with a timely escape.

Near the time of Akashima's birth she underwent training as a samurai and ninja, and maintains all the skills she learned their from martial combat and weapon play to the use of basic explosive powders and military tactics. However Ellenora's main skill that sets her aside from others of her race is her elocution and talent for languages. She speaks most known Coronian, Akashiman, and Haidian dialects, and can understand most northern tongues although she cannot speak them. She is an excellent orator and easily bends large crowds to her will under the right circumstances.

Due to her upbringing and time spent beneath the crust, the Vampyress also has a working knowledge of most of Haidia, as well as tunnelling/mining operations and some basic engineering. She can also sew, saddle horses, and do most of the other things one would expect of an ageless resident of Corone/Haidia.
