Some of these features look fun... first and foremost, I'm going after one of the big bosses as soon as I have a decent team. I'm going after the one that slayer of the rot already failed at, with the stake shooting crossbow, so he's welcome aboard.

Other than that I need some battles so my character won't be so weak once my power group opens up. The wager matches look sweet but until I have some experience I'm looking for dansdel battle. The setting can be anywhere in Corone or Haidia, and I want real battles not this you come back to life no matter what shit. My character is a vampyre, it shouldn't be too hard to find a reason to fight.

If you're too lazy to make the battle yourself then post here with whatever you're interested in. Otherwise just make one and give me the link, I'll rip you apart and make chalices from your bones to serve chilled blood at social gatherings.

A battle would be just the thing to really put me on the map, and as I have no place in my heart for foul creatures, I'll educate you on the ways of the gods! I'll happily fight you, though I do have business to attend to first. So if you start it, I'll gladly finish it and you.

Again, one day I just might bring my vampire character over here for a little undead duel, but I have way too many things going on right now. I'll keep an eye on your fight, though

I love beating heroic fools... it makes them light and fluffy and delicious on a side of bacon. I'll make the thread tomorrow. Is a battle in the woods near near underwood amenable to your needs?

When that day comes, I will wager exp against your fidelity to my clan.

A battle anywhere is fine, Mi'lady. Just so you know though I have no compassion to spare the unjust. Vampyre or not, a Kopesh in your gut, slicing you cleanly in half, will ruin any fell creatures day!

And posted. All within the time restraints. I do pray you don't think to try and win this fight by taking forever on your next post and hope I'll forget all about you. I came to cleave me a head, and yours will do just fine. A scalp of a Vampyre should fetch a nifty coin at the Bazaar, I would think.

On a serious note I want you to understand that a Kopesh is in all intents and purposes a Kilig sword. The blade would best resemble the exectuioner model (more fat in size) and the balanced blade has a weighted tip that was meant for cleaving through flesh. In essence, this blade can cleanly cut through bone, and easily. I wanted to make sure you are aware of this so you don't write your character taking a blow and thinking it would sting. To take a blow from this blade will result in you losing a limb, or taking severe laceration damage. That's of course if you don't have a logical explanation for why the blade won't do as much damage (like having it cut through a tree branch first, so forth so forth. You seem smart to think of something, but ya know, in the spirit of fun and all...)

Also, I realized I need to update Ahk'Ran to 3.0 standards, once that is done I'll let you know, but now the only addition is his skill with the blade is being added, as well as exactly what the Kopesh is designed to do. So I'll keep posting whenever you reply.

In regards to your above post, Chosen, the Kopesh (as you put it in your profile) can only cleave through bone if swung with both arms.

Don't forget that if your throwing around a big-ass, iron sword with both hands, and exerting enough energy to tear through bones, you're character is probably going to tire rather quickly. I guess keep that realism in mind when you're doing what you do.

I look forward to seeing who wins this little Dansdel(ish) Duel.

I'm honestly looking forward to this, been awhile since I rolled this guy out.

And yes, I do plan to keep it realistic when he swings that blade. That's why I made those stipulations of two handed full swings, cause realistically he shouldn't be tossing it around and hacking limbs. But I appreciate the interest in this. I also don't know if freaky deaky over here has armor that she's hiding. I decided not to peak at her profile at all. I want to be surprised so when I experience it I have a fresh mindset of how I would react. Makes it all the more interesting.

But as this is not our thread....

Hey, Freak of Nature! Where's my post? *Looks to watch* I'm wai~iiiii~ting.

No, I didn't fail to kill him, like the little blurb in the boss list makes it seem. I could have ripped him limb from limb by myself, but as far as I know, I can't do solo boss battles, and my second partner Amsen just vanished from the site the day I posted the battle. So if you're going for him I'm coming cause that little lady and his stick slingshot deserves an axe right up the ass.

If only we all had jobs that allowed abundant amounts of roleplaying... :( oh well

I will have a post up for our battle inside the next hour, and your tears of sorrow combined with your tears of terror shall drown you.

So slayer and I are embarking on a boss hunt.. it would probably be wise for us to have at least one other along, plus an alternate. I think it'd be wise to have someone on our roster whose job is to post only if we're otherwise about to lose. Unless of course you can guarantee at least a post every 4-5 days Slayer. I can do that, so the two of us could get this underway soon and just bring in an alternate if necessary. If anyone else is interested in helping us kill the boss, let us know, but don't think your sheer interest will be enough to get you aboard.

Dan and I have been talking about messing up some boss face and wiping off that nasty little blurb. We were robbed because someone didn't post. Now we both want our revenge. Could use a lady of the night if she is so inclined to join us.

If its not too late to recruit myself for the boss battle, I wouldn't mind having a crack at him with the rest of you.
