Short hiatus

Hey everyone, I'm taking a short hiatus for a week or two.

One of my very dear friends was involved in a bad wreck last Friday. She had her 5 month old girl and 4 year old boy with her and she lost them both. She's going through a few surgeries to fix up her physical wounds and will recover physically as will her mother who was also in the car with them.

As I said this is one of my dear friends. I knew and loved Levi and Hailey, so this is kinda hitting me hard.

Those of you that I'm in threads with, I'm sorry, but I just can't focus on writing right now. I will be back soon, but I just need to take a short break right now.

Those of you that have actually bothered to read this all the way through (i know how some of us skim these things, don't lie :P) please pray for Shaina and her husband Wes as they go through the loss of their only children. It's not any easier for the rest of us that knew the kids, but the fact remains that they aren't our children.

thank you very much. my friend is doing pretty good. She's off all the wires and morphine drip and is healing up well. We buried the kids yesterday in a double coffin, very sweetly arranged so that big brother's arm was around baby sister. It's been a rough week, but I'm doing much better now.

I am back now, hopefully recharged and ready to write again. ^_^
