History:
As a human Larcius was born in a small town, and raised by his parents until his was 7 years of age. His parents passed away in a carriage accident and the town folk placed them in their grave before telling him at all. Within a few months after his parents passing he was placed in the care of a Priest, and the kind hearted old man attempted to feed Larcius the ways of his faith. Larcius practiced the faiths of God and accompanied the Priest, Garden, on his travels across the world to perform exorcists on those affected by the temptation of Evil.
The Priest died of old age when Larcius turned 19 years of age, and he continued the Priest exorcism practices across the world. His faith was strong, and his will of God was the only thing that he thought kept him company in his travels. Three days after his 23 birthday he was hired to perform an exorcism on a small girl that hunted the streets of a small town at night. Once he encountered the girl, he was aware that the practical exorcism wasn’t at all what needed to be performed. The city folk had attempted multiple times to kill and rid of the little girl by luring her into traps, but only resulted in deaths of even more people. Larcius attempted to cure her ailments through the same faith and practice he had cured many others over the years, but found himself face to face with fear of this sickness he had never encountered. The girl was not a monster as the people that attempted to kill her had presumed, but in fact was particularly smart and challenging individual. Her eyes were a dark read, and her movements swift and careful. Larcius found himself pulled into the creature within hours of watching it…that was until she attacked him. The young girl was terribly strong and fast, he didn’t stand a chance and his God wasn’t there to protect him from the demon that snapped his bones in demonstration of power. The young girl toyed with him for days, breaking several bones just to see his reaction, but never giving him the sweet ending that he eventually started to ache for. No matter how much he cried out for help from others, and the God he had let enter his life, nothing came to his aid. After the third day, she finally bit him on the fore-arm, sending him into convulsions that lasted hours. His heart stopped beating, and his body felt frozen solid against all of his will to move it. The most terrible of anything was being able to feel his veins dry, and grow cold without control over it. By the end of the night he was going through a withdraw of something he couldn’t place his fingers on, and before he knew it…he had taken the place of the little girl that tortured him so much. He preyed on the town folk that refused to aid the screams he cried in the previous nights. After a night of constant feeding, the town was empty and void of life, including himself. He felt no pity for the selfish who had fled, and those who littered the ground in houses and on the streets.
The transformation hadn’t yet taken hold of his conscious as he thought he could simply walk back into the daylight, and this was the first lesson…of many, that he learned the hard way. His hands caught fire as he entered the light, burning the dead flesh that covered the rest of his anatomy. Retreating into the darkness, he came to the conclusion that sunlight was a terrible idea. The God he had loved so much had banished him into a life of complete darkness. And the one responsible for his nightmare was no not to be found. For most of his life he adventured the land at night, feeding and meeting many different people that amused him with company. He didn’t always kill his prey, in fact, sometimes he simply got to know them after breaking into their homes. His compassion for life was extrodinary compared to vampire in stories. Although he had only met another of his kind twice in his travels, Larcius tended to avoid them to keep from having troubles. He learned a great deal about the human nature from above them in the food chain bracket. Mostly being a loner, Larcius continues to travel the land in search of alternate means of living.
