Occupation: Skie fancies herself as a roaming adventurer, and Avery is currently in the role of Chieftain for the Moontae people.
Personality: Skie is a determined, quiet young woman who wants to follow in her father's footsteps and become a sort of traveling hero. She loves to see new places and feels that it is everyone's duty to do their best to better their world. She has a particular love for Raiaera, and wants to study magic there, when things get quieter. Avery is a man who is coming into his own as Chieftain. He was a very timid child, though responsibility is making a man out of him. He is a caring and dutiful husband, and a bringer of peace to his people. He loves his sister, and keeps the memories of his dead mother closer to him than anything else. He has an apathy for his father, and has come to hate and despise his sister. While he still has a lot of love for his family and his people, he has become cold and angry in recent times. Skie herself has become colder, feeling a bitter chill of regret and the loss of hope.
Appearance: Skie is a young woman with long black hair that she keeps tied back at the nape of her neck. Her face is personable, her blue eyes compassionate, her mouth usually turned up at the corners in a small smile. She wears a simple brown button up linen shirt with a pair of deep brown denim pants tucked into leather boots. Her belt is made of the same leather, and holds her sword, which she is never found without.
Avery is a well toned young man with hair the same length as his sister's, though it is a lighter brown with rich honey highlights moving through it. His eyes are a clever green, and often say far more than his words do. He, in true Moontae style, wears nothing. His wing adorns the left side of his back.
History: Skie and Avery were born into royalty. Their mother, an infamous Cheiftess named Natamrael, tried to raise them to walk the line between the old customs and new ideas - mainly, her ideas. It was this core of behavior that got her killed, when the twins were just children. They had met their father not long before that, though they didn't know it at the time, so when the Cheiftess fell, the twins were caught in a storm of confusion. Avery stepped up to the throne, without a clue of what should be done, and Skie slipped away, exploring the freedom that her mother had so often flaunted.
Avery grew into a great Chief, bringing peace to his people. He found a woman in Concordia one night and kidnapped her, intending on keeping her as a pet. However, they ended up falling in love, and he took her as Queen of his throne. Over time they came to truly be in love, and he fathered a child with her, Netimrael. With joy he found his son to be perfect, Moontae in appearance with all his mother's strength.
Skie studied in the Citadel of Radasanth, and met her father again. This time, Devon dan Sabriel was possessed by an evil presence and tried to kill her. She managed to escape with her life, though her heart was broken. She joined the Adventurer's Crown tournament and traveled to Raiaera, sure that the evil there was linked with the dark in her father. With three companions, they brought an end to the undead in the Elfin lands. When she was sure that no one was looking, she switched her simple steel sword with Devon's, which had been trapped in the Obsidian tower. While in Raiaera, she worked to end Xem'Zund, playing a small role in the retaking of the Elven lands from the necromancer. She helped to fight at the Spire, but was kidnapped. Getting away from her captor, she fought in lesser battles until Xem'Zund came to an end. Since then, she'd returned to Corone, training again in the Citadel with renewed determination.
While back home, Skie was joyous to find that her brother's wife became laden with child. A new reason to fulfill her dreams was given her, the need to be able to also protect the impending niece or nephew. After a fight, Skie decided to once again leave for Raiaera. She was given her father's dagger by her brother, and set off with a bitter ending. Before boarding the ship that would take her to Raiaera, she met with Victor Callahan. The two had a one night stand, where Skie ended up tasting his soul, but not consuming it. She was overcome by the intensity of what she saw, the goodness. Though she begged him to stay, he did not. Tearfully, she boarded her ship.
On the way out, she was kidnapped along with a young woman named Rani and had her will enslaved by a man named Griffin. Griffin sent Skie back to her brother with the intentions of capturing and enslaving from infancy the child that Avery had with Elena. As she was trying to fight Griffin's coercion and kidnap Netimrael, the infant was killed in a terrible accident. Avery brutally attacked his sister, nearly murdering her and taking from her both her wing and forcing on her the ritual that stole any powers she had that were linked to her Moontae blood. She escaped with her life, but just barely. Griffin, finding her to be useless, tossed her to the side and she took refuge in Raiaera.
Elena left Avery and alone in his rage and misery, he became a monster. He began to enter the Citadel with the intent on causing as much harm as possible, and faced Ruby La Roux there. Meanwhile, he began to plot the end of Skie dan Sabriel.

Curse of the Starslayer (Cannot take effect in battle conditions) - The soul of a person is tied to a star. When their soul is destroyed, that star is extinguished. As a Starslayer, a gift inherited from her father, if Skie truly loves a person honestly and unconditionally, upon her kiss their soul shall be consumed and their star extinguished from the sky. This cannot of course be bunnied and is for the use of story plot only.

Illusion- Avery can create an illusion of sight and smell no larger than the area he can see (excluding his peripheral vision). This illusion lasts as long as he can concentrate upon it. The illusion is not tangible and cannot do damage.
Pheromones- Avery secretes pheromones from his skin. He has come into the ability to exert a small amount of control over the concentration of the secretion, creating a stronger effect. Those effected by the pheromones are afflicted with both lust and a minor charm spell that compels the victim to want to please the Moontae King. The area of effect depends on wind currents and the victim's sense of smell. The extent of this charm cannot be bunnied and is fully decided by the opponent's writer.
Demonic Strength- Avery, while lean and muscled, has the strength of two very strong men. This comes from his demonic lineage.
