Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I know we had a thread like this a while back, but with all the newer players and oldbies who have returned I'd like to ask everyone again. Where do you see yourself in ten years?

The dream: I hope to be back in the Texas panhandle, paying other people to run my own Zaxby's as I just sit back and collect my portion.

The reality: I will probably be either in corporate opening new stores or working as head of Human Resources (probably the second one actually).

If that doesn't pan out, I could hopefully be a code monkey in some video game company... somewhere. Being able to put my own ideas to work would be nice in that situation, but I'm being more realistic than optimistic at the moment due to lack of sleep.

A commissioned officer in the United States Army. Finishing my graduate degree, getting my licensure as a clinical psychologist and completing my remaining officer training. I'm looking at places I'd like to move to when I'm done with undergrad, and my sights are set on Tennessee. However, I really think it doesn't matter where I go, I need to find a place with the best schooling. Hopefully it coincides with being warm. =P

10 years...

i'd like to be married and have 2 kids. By that time I also hope to have earned my Master's in Early Spec Ed and be running a private pre-school/daycare that can cater to special needs kids.

oh and probably still goofing around here (providing of course there is no Althanas apocalypse that takes away my creative writing outlet)

I see myself in the same home I purchased this Monday, married to the same woman I'm engaged to now, working at the same law firm I am now. I will likely have one child by that time. I should also be an equity partner.

This isn't really a dreamy or hypothetical question for me. I have a plan and a career. Ten years, twenty years, thirty years, it's likely to be about the same.

I see myself as the UFC Featherweight champion within the next 10 years. Also, my friends and I are in the works kicking off our own fighting apparel and opening our own gym (or as we call it, a compound) so hopefully in ten years I can have a successful gym going. I plan to just recruit good fighters from all over who don't really have much and just try to help them get by (by giving them a sponsorship scholarship and free housing at the compound apartments).

As far as ten years down the line, I'd also like to have my own reality show documenting our antics. Think of it like Wildboys-meets-Fantasy Factory-meets-Mixed Martial Arts-meets-Pure Awesomeness. I guess it'd be more like a reality show on crystal meth, or something.

I also see myself living in an apartment surrounded by all my board games, books, and classic video games. Probably still single--unless I luck out and find a woman who agrees to enter a marriage purely for the tax breaks. Turns out that the ladies aren't terribly fond of that idea.

Yep, our PD is in his 50s now and eventually he'll leave. My guess is I'll take over then. Otherwise I'll be dealing with a 14 year old son and still gaming (I hope) with my hubby.
