Free-form Serenti Gambling (Place bets here!)

Welcome to my free-form gambling corner (set up with the go-head from our friendly staff member The International), where players can let their coin purses do their talking and bet amongst themselves. Betting here is simple, and requires the following information:

The battle in question -- Obviously.

The player you wish to bet on -- the one you think will win.

Amount wagered -- You may bet any amount, but the wise will choose reasonable quantities that others are likely to bet against.

The odds/payout ratio -- this represents how much of an advantage or disadvantage your chosen battler has in your opinion, and determines how much GP is required to take up your wager. Example: You place a wager of 500 GP on Player A, but set the odds as 2:1 in the favor of Player A against Player B. This would mean that someone accepting your bet would only need to put forth 250 GP. As with the quantity being wagered, you may set this as whatever you like, but keep in mind that you want to make your open wager appealing to other potential gamblers. On that note, items may also be wagered against gold or other items.

Notes: Participants may bet on their own battles, but may not bet against themselves. Obviously, judges cannot judge battles that they have bet on. All wagers must be placed and accepted before the seventh post is made in the given battle. Default wins/losses count the same way as regular wins and losses here. It's just another thing to keep in mind when betting.
