I have just recently had Jack accepted as a character and am tugging at the metaphorical reigns to begin. However, it seems I am having some difficulty finding the necessary information to do so. As such, I will leave it to some generous benefactors to guide me in my confusion and despair:

a.) Where is Concordia located, and what is it like? The only physical description I've been able to find is that of the Dansdel.

b.) What technological level has Concordia reached?

c.) Is it possible to use poetry to convey story? I assume that it would need to be dealt with a bit differently than prose and may not fall under the same parameters as the traditional rubric, so if not I would certainly understand.

d.) I've read a lot about "tiers" for weapons and such. Is there a corporeal list of said quality tiers? I'd like to research this a bit, if I may.

You can find some info on Corone here (http://www.althanas.com/wiki/index.php?title=Corone), together with a map that shows where Concordia Forest is located. I'm not sure what you mean by the technological level as it's basically a forest and a part of Corone (actually one of baronies, if I recall correctly, but majority of it is the forest), so it's probably on the same level as the rest of Corone, which would be like medieval-ish I guess.

Here (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?22255-The-Bazaar-FAQ-Tier-List) is the list of materials and their properties.

And yes, you can convey a story with poetry. It's been done before and it usually gets judged like any other thread.

Well, I've finally completed my very first in character post on Althanas. It is the start to what will hopefully be a long and beautiful story. I just hope that it doesn't end up coming across oddly -- my prose tends to do that, unfortunately.

You can find the link to it here (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?23559-The-Clock-the-Vault-and-the-Sword-of-Kings&p=191181#post191181) if you're interested. I'd love to hear feedback or commentary regarding how I'm doing.

Thanks!

A bit of personal advice; whip your dick out. Especially in threads involving women,

Because [chicks] like that.

Anyway, I read the beginning of your stuff, and I am definitely compelled to read more.

Me gusto.

I appreciate that, Sagequeen.

Also, no offense was meant by not responding to you, Slayer. I just... well, I didn't have a response to that.
