"I need this altered." Dan Lagh'ratham laid his great axe across the blacksmith's counter after carefully moving a few small dagger displays and stacks of paper receipts. He had been mulling the weapon's design over for some time, and after a handful of different soldiers in the Ixian Knights' barracks had referred him to this shop, he'd decided to finally see what the man could do.

"I want this shortened," he tapped the long delyn haft, then placed his hand flat against it, indicating just where he wanted the haft to end. It shortened the axe's considerable height, but would allow him to be more able with the weapon in small spaces, to aid in its use in close quarters. Including the blade, it would reduce the axe to just slightly over four feet.

"I then want a warhammer head attached to the opposite side of the blade. Square shaped, nice and thick, maybe slightly bigger then my palm. Finally, I want either a spike, or a short blade attached to the top of the haft, either or, it doesn't matter to me, above the hammer and blade." The modifications would give one of his favorite weapons a greater diversity than it had possessed before. Hack and slash, crush and smash, and stab and.....well, stab.

"Think you're up to that Blacksmith? I won't accept poor craftsmanship on my baby."

Actually, let's do this the fast way, like all the idiot kids are doing these days. Back in my fucking day, I had to walk a hunnert and ninety miles in the snow to get to the bazaar, roleplay every little bit out, and that was just for some crummy little iron throwing knives!

Dan wants:
Modifications on the Great Axe
+ Shortened Haft (Decreases the axe's height to four and a half feet, reducing it from six feet, the delyn removed can be sold back to count for the price of the modifications)
+ Addition: A Hammer head attached opposite of the axe blade (sort of transforming the axe to a warhammer, so picture a large headed warhammer, but subtract the crow-bill hook and add a large axe blade, lol. Something like the hammerhead of this [Reference (http://files.turbosquid.com/Preview/Content_2009_07_14__11_30_15/warhammer.jpgd774d466-41b5-4f6a-b9bf-67cefb4fe08fLarger.jpg)], [Reference (http://files.turbosquid.com/Preview/2010/12/04__22_12_00/warhammer_back.jpgfa361133-3436-4159-b8d1-a932343b3f93Larger.jpg)])
+ Addition: A six inch Spike - or - a six inch double edged blade, affixed to the top of the haft (Picture the tip of a halberd, something to the tune of this [Reference (http://www.by-the-sword.com/acatalog/images/cd-1045b.jpg)]
+ Treatment: A coating of crushed Mukakkannati glass on the edge of the Axe blade

The Seige Bow
A tall compound bow, made of steel and strung with sinew from arctic beasts, the seige bow utilizes a pulley system to increase its draw weight to an extraordinary 250 pounds. Its arrow is less of an arrow, and more of a steel rod tipped with dehlar. While pointed, the arrow itself is blunt, meant to impact, concuss, and crush a target, and is attached to the seige bow via a chain wound around an additional pulley. This restricts the seige bow's range to only 25 feet, but allows the arrow to be retreived whenever fired. A few simple but sturdy leather cuffs keep the arrow attached to the bow when not in use. I'll be trading in my Angelic Emblems (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?16038-Neil-Diamond/page2) (Artifact, unique item, a pair of smooth metal plates, that when sewn into an article of clothing, or attached to armor, allows the weilder to sprout flight capable wings), and my studded prevalida sword-mace (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?21887-SuperBuick&highlight=) to help cover the cost of these items. I can be contacted via PM to discuss this purchase, and I'll in chat for a few hours tonight. I can jump on AIM at request.

Note: If I have the funds after selling the Angelic Emblems and the Sword-Mace, I would prefer the Seige Bow to be made of Titanium or Delyn, and the sinew to be taken from a Sea Serpent.

Alright after a heap of time I've finally got around to this man. Sorry about the wait though, for real. I'll give you the titanium for the bow, but with that you won't be able to afford the sea serpent sinew. Sorry mi amigo.

As far as this transaction goes:

The bow will be masterwork quality and made of titanium, with the artic beast sinew. The altercations on the ax are cool beans too.

The final outcome of this transaction will be 1200 GP deducted (titanium ain't cheap, foo) along with the items you've stated.

Thanks for the patience man.
