Dear Althanas,

I apologize for my lack of activity over the past week or so. There's no point in being dishonest, seeing as how none of you know me, so I won't be: I have been struggling with a bit of depression. My fiancee, after six years of romantic relationship (two and a half of those engagement) decided two weeks before we were to be wed that she needed to quit the wedding, go back to Canada (where she is from), and break our relationship off entirely. She also took my dog with her when she went.

That happened roughly four months ago, I believe. Honestly, though, I don't feel like checking to be accurate. Whatever the case, the reality of my circumstances just recently hit me. That being said, I haven't done much other than sleep for a week. I apologize to all of you whom I had prior commitments to - and I will be doing my best over the next few days to make good on those.

Thanks for your understanding and your patience, Althanians. Me love you long time.
