"Can this be true? Tell me, can this be real? How can you put into words what you feel!?" The friendly voice exclaimed the quation throughout the various bazaar stores. The dischord among the local merchants as well as the crowd forming over by the shore was a telltale sign that the most magnificent thing had happened. Travis 'Sonic' Mills had returned, and with him, his unique brand of items up for bidding.

The racer was leaning against his mechanical beast, 'The Blue Blur', snapping his fingers while looking at the common folk that began to surround him. Whispers and murmurs about the previous items this salesman had began to fill the area, sounding like a rather talkative gust of wind. Travis pushed himself off the hood of his race car, straightening his blue jump suit out and making sure the patches for his sponsers were spotless. He had been stuck on Althanas for years now, so he had mastered the art of treasure hunting and haggling.

So much so he could be called Travis 'Sonic' Millsburg and nobody would be able to bat an eye.

"Welcome, ladies and gentleman, to the return of your favorite store of all time, the Auction House!" He stretched his arms out with a smile as he looked to his gathered crowd. "Names Travis Mills, item extraordinaire, and have I got some deals for you! Simple rules; You can bid on as much stuff as you want, but your GP adds up, and if it adds up to over 1,000, I'm gonna make you sit out a few items to give the other patrons a fair shot at the prizes. Items are sold as is, so don't expect a refund, and some of this stuff the bazaar won't even take. Don't know, guess the shopkeeps see me as a swindler of sorts, but you good folks know better! I won't be holding my items for very long, so you better keep those bids coming, but I will make sure that you have a new item to replace the lost one every time. Now, lets get started shall we?"

Travis walked around to the end of his mechanical monster, slamming a fist down on its blue painted frame and popping open the trunk. The racer reached down into the abyss and pulled out a crossbow. The weapon itself was about 2 feet long, as well as two feet wide. The wood was a strange red, as if painted with blood, and the arrow already lodged into the weapon appeared to be made completely of bone.

"This is the Siren's Call," Travis explained, "It's a crossbow that, when fired, lets out an ear splitting scream. This thing will work wonders on people vulnerable to loud noises, or elves, since they have super hearing. The undead aren't phased by it, unless of course they're hit with the arrow. But enough chat, let me demonstrate this Red Forest oak arbalest." Travis aimed the bow towards the see, releasing the bone bolt from it and causing the arrow to let out a high pitched squeal. It caused almost everyone in the crowd to cover their ears.

"Louder than a gun shot," Travis spoke, his features distorted as a now free hand reached into the trunk," and if the target has to cover their ears, they're not swinging a weapon at you. AmIright? Furthermore, I'll throw in several seasonal crossbow bolts absolutely free, in honor of a celebration my home planet calls 'Halloween'. Lets start the bidding at 500 GP!"

((OOC Legal Stuff:

Bidding will last one week, at the end of the week, the highest bidder will get the item in question.

If you exceed the 1,000 GP limit, be it by purchasing enough to add up to 1,000, or just buying one item at 1,000+ GP, you will have to sit out of bidding on the next three items. At which point your counter will reset.

I will only acknowlege increments of 10%. In other words, at 500 GP, the next logical bid is 550, as 50 = 10% of 500.

The bazaar mods and Sei reserve the right to revoke your item if it is misused or powergamed in your threads. Though this has yet to happen.

Some items are not for resale, and will be listed as such.

If you wish for me to elaborate more on an item, things likeTier strength, how many times can ability be used, etc etc, PM me and I will not only respond to you, but edit it into my post.

Should be aboot it. If there are any more rules I'll list them as I go as well as ed them in this first post. With that being said, happy hunting! Oh, also, the 'seasonal arrows' will be revealed in detail once the Siren's Call is bought.))

"500 GP!" An excited arm shot out from the crowd. The people made way to the hand, whose owner happened to be a small girl atop the shoulders of her sister, waving her arm frantically. "Daddy will love it! Just in time for their glass-dealie!"

Emma Orlouge shook her head and sighed, moving her sister Ella as she did so. "I think I should probably hold on to thatfor you, Ella, at least until Father needs it."

The little one nodded as a represenative came down with the weapon, handing it to the older girl. Emma nodded and exchanged the proper GP for the bow.

"Well that was fun," Travis stated while looking to the masses, "but lets pull out something from our 'Worst Fear' collection." The racer pointed a single finger forward, a glistening gold ring shining in the eyes of the spectators.

"It looks as though its a simple golden ring, but this, my friends, is the Epic WinRing. While it seems like a common piece of jewelry, you can actually use it in battle to embody the worst fear of your opponent. That's right ladies and gentlemen, if you are wearing this while fighting, and your opponent fears something, you can actually personify whatever gives them the heebie jeebies. Keep in mind its just an illusion, but if your foe fears flightless birds, just wearing the Epic WinRing will make it seem as though you are a giant Salvar Penguin. Scared of spiders? The ring allows you to turn into a literal spider-man." The Earthling paused for a moment to reflect on his pun, realizing that hardly any of the commoners would get the reference.

"Anywho, lets start the bidding for this great accsessory at 300."

((Epic WinRing works against -all- types of characters, the exceptions being those that can see through illusions, and those that have no fear. Otherwise, its free game. Illusion ends when either the ring comes off, the foe conquers their fear, or the wearer becomes incapcitated.))

The crowd had been silent for some time, the buyers uncertain as to the true worth of such an accessory. For, after all, they were beings of general peace; the utilities of fear and the mind held little use to them.

In their midst, however, one goliath pondered. He had come alone, without his guard and private army; for even the conqueror from the Outlands deigned solitude once in a while. He was standing next to one of the arching overhangs to the town center, and had only come to visit, to sightsee even; but the loud Earthling standing next to his mechanical vehicle had caught his attention.

Oh yes, he knew that the man standing up there was from another world. It wasn't hard to guess, and to be honest Solomon simply did not care. The stranger with the strange motorized vehicle held no influence in his plans; he was a Drifter, a pawn, in the midst of the multiversal weave. And thus, so far, the Emperor of the Outlands had said nothing, remaining a gargoyle of steel and flesh in the shadows as he watched on.

Until now. That ring had caught his eye; for he knew full well the value of fear. It was not the full potential that Solomon desired, for illusions could be broken and seen through, but the mind of the masses was fragile. Even such a simple trick could be useful, potentially; and, after all, it wasn't as if this 'Epic WinRing' could not be altered to his desires. Everything would bend to his will, eventually.

It was this thought that made him step forth, the faceless beings around him parting subconsciously to make way for the grand conqueror at their back. His cloak billowing outwards like black flames, the man approached the dias, one hand subconsciously at the hilt of the broadsword at his hip. "Praytell, is this an item of the arcane?" He spoke, his deep baritone little more than a murmur; and yet, carrying over the soft sounds around him with natural, charismatic ease.
