EDIT: Although in the interest of this actually being a useful thread: What's going on in everybody's RPs right now? I'm finally getting back into the loop (right before school probably takes me back out, but frakit) and want to know what all I've missed.

I'm starting up a few, writing some basic stuff to get the character's personality down and just get back into writing. Interested in working on messing with the Scourge in Scara Brae, as well as possibly doing something more with a thief character and maybe some dabbling in fun magic in the future. Have some depth to work on with other characters, but mostly just trying to have fun and write to write for once in years. Haha.

How about you? What fun, epic, beautiful things do you have going on?

Sounds good. Especially if the whole blow-up-Scara-Brae thing stuck well enough that the Scourge are exploiting the lingering aftermath of a disaster. :) What kind of thief are you looking at? And what magic too, for that matter.

I'm currently plotting to blow up the moon. Basically the usual, except more so.

Looking at the kind of thief that likes to steal, but wants to collect rare artifacts and items that I can use in place of actual abilities. Want to go a more enchanted items on a basic character sort of thing. As for magic, thinking about doing a different spin on time magic in a way. Using time magic not just to fast forward, rewind, or pause time, but to localize time. Like, localize a rewind in time over a wound to make it go away not by healing but by taking the area of the wound back to a time when it wasn't wounded kind of thing. Hah. Haven't figured it out completely or how much I can really do with it.

Why blow up the moon? That seems fun but different. hahIt's what I do. :cool: And Scara Brae got trainwrecked last time I blew through it. Dunno if the changes stuck or not, doubt they did though. I usually ignore pretty much everyone and everything in favor of blowing increasingly large chunks off the planet.

Haven't figured it out completely or how much I can really do with it.If you want to make use of it, there's a great big miles-wide pile of ruins that used to be a dozen or so civilizations stacked on top of each other. They're all gone now but I'm sure there's plenty of Stuff left over from them. Plenty of which is probably filtering into Scara Brae at this point.

Dig the Time abuse. :) There's probably plenty you can do with it and you should try to abuse the living Hell right out of it for fun and profit.

God damn it took a while. Finally finished my third solo to get Dan James grounded in Althanas with a bit of back story. Now I gotta get that shiz proofed, judged, and RPing with some actual people.

Caden, I assume the thread you were talking about was The Catacombs of Scara Brae: Dead Sun Rising. I haven't read it yet, but I did read over the changes you caused. wondering if anyone would be extremely opposed to the changes? I would love to play with the ideas that you made and have some new life in SB. Of course, I'll have to do this after I've read the thread, or the changes have been summarized in the information area. I'd have to figure out who the Kevyrazians and Fungans are, and what and where the catacombs were and how they got scattered. lol
