Name: Sera Kalea
Age: 24
Race: Human
Hair Color: Dark brown
Eye Color: Blue
Height:5' 9"
Weight: 119 lbs
*Occupation: Theif/bandit

*Personality: There are a few words that could easily describe Sera; cold, distant, and possibly evil. She's sarcastic, and does almost anything she can to get what she wants.

Appearance:At first glance, Sera looks like she might be a bandit because of her clothes. She wears a dark red dress, fitting a fighter, with a yellow sash tied around her waist and a matching scarf tied around her neck. Tied around her head is a dark red headband. On her hands and feet she wears dark brown gloves and boots with guards on the back of the hand and front of the ankle. Her hair is dark brown, almost black, and falls to her waist. Its almost always braided with a jade ring on the end. Her eyes are dark brown and just slightly lighter than the shade of her hair.

History: Sera's entire life has basically been based around thievery and running around rule free. Her father was part of a gang of thieves and bandits, and so was her mother. After Sera was born, her mother tried to get out of it, but it wasn't very easy. She did escape, with Sera, but only a few months later she was killed, and Sera was brought back to her father to be raised with them.
You'd think that something like that would make Sera want to get out of the gang as well, but every since she started being taught how to steal, fight, and ever murder without being caught, she started to like this idea. It was obvious that she definately wasn't being raised to be a 'good girl'.As a test when she was about 13, she was pretty much just set off on her own to see how well she lasted, and how long.
Sera found a way to a village and thought that would be a good place to start. She stayed there for a while, managing pretty well on her own. But, after a few years, she started to sense something from a kid she had seen before in the village. She found out a few things about him, and decided to keep her eye on him for now.
Eventually the boy left the village, and Sera followed him. She had become very interested in the boy, and since her own powers had grown over the time she had been by herself, she thought that he'd be worth her time now, since his would grow too. But, if he doesn't see things her way, she'd just have to find a way to make him.

Skills: Sera's skills are mostly centered around stealth and trickery. She knows how to make poisons which she either applies to her weapons or uses directly against someone. Hiding and sneaking around undetected are also abilities that she has. She can control shadows, changing their positions without moving objects and creating shadow 'portals' that let her move between two places quickly, though she can't go far distances, only places she can see with her eyes. She can make shadows that become solid, allowing her to use them to move small items, and grab on to her opponents for a short time.

Equipment: The weapons she uses are two long steel daggers and a staff made of a dark red metal. A few steel throwing knives are also hidden in her clothes. She can usually be found to carry some plants or other items used to make poison, and also the stuff she uses to mix the ingrediants.

*Familiars: A falcon named storm that follows her where ever she goes. It acts as a look out, and she almost seems to understand it.

Manipulate shadows to her advantage? Elaborate on this. Describe what exactly this skill is capable of, including it's absolute limit.

Include that all of her weapons are made of steel.

That better?

No, I mean, how can she manipulate them? Can she take a shadow and make it larger or something? Perhaps manipulate is the wrong word for what you are trying to explain.

I tried again. Is that any better?

Sure. I'm going to allow it under the assumption that you're going to work very hard to not use it too much. That means use the shadow skills sparingly, and when you do so, don't do anything beyond what you feel a level 0 should be able to do.
