So I had an idea for a plotline to kick off this new character.

Olivia is a dream watcher that lives in the world of dreams, but... somebody doesn't like her. Somebody seems to be after her and wanting to kill her. What is worse that someone actually seems very capable of doing so, especially since they seem to know how to kill her. The method of attack is one that keeps the identity of the attacker safe while making the threat on Olivia's life very, very, real. They plan on controlling nightmares and sending them after her to devour her dream world presence, which in her case is the presence that actually matters. That presence dies, she is permanently dead. What is worse is that it is likely that if the evil does kill Olivia it would be capable of making every single dream a nightmare. Now, this battle takes place on 2 fronts. Olivia's presence in the dream world needs to be protected while at the same time the man doing this needs to be hunted down and stopped in the real world.

What am I looking for in recruits for this quest? Heavily creative, heroic, and hard to scare characters that would be willing enough and strong of mind enough to battle nightmares in the dreamworld if needed.

Highest level character and strongest PC telepath at your service. Though Sei couldn't do both at the same time, he could most definately run one front with you. Also, do you have an idea in mind for a villain? If not, I have a good idea on someone who can fit the role.

lmao. Wow. I asked for a strong mind and I got it. Who did you have in mind for the role? I was going to have the villain just be an NPC, but if you know of a PC that would fit the role better, I am willing to listen to your ideas. I am just waiting to hear back from one person who said they would look at this in the morning. After that, I will be kicking things off. . Anyone have any preference as far as realms?

Duffy, this is not what I meant! Too much pressure! My suggestions (if not outright villain) were Nominal Hero and TokenEvilTeamate. There's also that Heel Face Revolving Door.

That said, if it's about fear and nightmares, that new character Malevor would pretty much be perfect, but I don't know if Malevor is around. I'm not quite the best wordsmith when it comes to scaring people, so I don't want to drag anyone down.

That said, what is the motivation for this villain? Why are they doing this?

Ok, so I am confused now. Silence sei will be in this with me, but are you in or out, rayse? Just want a simple answer to settle the confusion.

Also I would appreciate if people were not nominating other people for this quest. If someone wants to RP this plot with me, fine, but I am getting all confused already from one person nominating rayse. I thought rayse was just an alternate username for duffy the way duffy pointed to rayse and now I hear rayse saying it isn't okay and then nominating someone else so... yeah. don't want to go through trying to figure out who is volunteering themselves versus who is volunteering others. other than that I am good with anyone volunteering to help with this quest. Thanks.

The problem with this is generally you need some pretty intimate knowledge of a character in order to scare them. Just some random big monster won't work on some super-heroes. Sei knows what scares his character much better than I do. So yeah Duffy, while well-intentioned, sort of put my name in the wrong hat. It does pain me to decline considering I have finished a grand total of 1 thread last year, but I don't see how I fit into this.

As for me, my Trap Master alt was who I had in mind for a villain, just another step into John going from a vigilante with good but extreme intentions, to outright dick whos kills for the heck of it. Thinking on it though, I don't think I want to descend that far into madness with him just yet.
