That's right, everyone! It's time to do some recruiting. Obviously this is something we should try to do all the time anyway, but now is the time to make a concerted, united effort to bring a wave of new life to Althanas. As such, we are offering some exciting incentives to promote dedicated, enthusiastic recruitment. They are as follows:
1: For each new recruit that gets a character approved, you will receive a Bazaar Discount Credit for 50% off any one Bazaar purchase (with a discount cap of your level * 100 + 100 -- IOW: a level 2 character could get as much as 300 GP off an item, assuming that item cost at least 600 GP normally). Simply have your recruit make a note in their character registration thread that you recruited them to receive your reward. We will make a note in our Recruit Status Thread (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?23959-Recruit-a-Friend-Status-Page&p=193711#post193711), and you can then use your discount at any time afterward.
2: Once your recruit completes his/her first RP, you will receive a 'voucher' that gives you a 30% EXP bonus on a future completed thread (note: only you get the bonus, not any other participants in said thread). To claim it, simply post a link both to your recruit's profile (where they mention you as their recruiter) and to his/her completed RP in the status thread linked above. If you participated in your recruit's first, RP, you may apply that reward to that same thread if you wish.
3: We will offer special recognition to those who go above and beyond. Those who recruit at least three new members who complete at least one RP each (three threads total, so if all three participate in the same thread, that only counts as one) will receive a custom member title of their choice.
Notes and Limitations:
Yes, you can receive the first and second rewards multiple times if you fulfill the criteria multiple times.
Rewards are assigned to a player, not a specific account, and may thus be used on any character a given member has.
We will be monitoring IPs, so please do not attempt to cheat the system by registering alts as "recruits".
To prevent abuse, the number of Bazaar credit rewards (number 1) received cannot exceed the number of EXP vouchers (number 2) by more than two. In other words, if you have recruited five members, but only two have completed an RP thread, you will only receive the Bazaar reward for four of them, until more of your recruits complete threads.
