The time has arrived for Cassandra's Cult of Blessed Torture to strike against the ones who would rather see her dead. A red moon is coming, and on that crimson eve The Cult will attack one of the biggest known names in all of Althanas...

The Ixian Knights

What I am looking for is a group of dedicated writers who can AND WILL post in a timely manner in a scenario of the following design.

Phase one: The Night Begins

In Phase one, Cassandra is going to release a flock of Rapists upon a town near Ixian Castle that is under its protection. These people are going to overwhelm the security in place and run rickshaw through the town doing their thing. When Sei organizes his troops to counter this threat, the next phase begins. (Looking for about 4 to 6 posts of this from Cult and IK members.)

Phase Two: The Knight Falls

In phase two, the Cult attacks the castle directly. It's a two pronged attack. From the outer walls, Concordian giant spiders as well as the mutated Ghouls of the Cult, including one Broken giant, are going to attack the main gate and the giant spiders are going to crawl everywhere. From their backs the anarchists and assassins/warriors/hunters/serial killers will jump and attack running a muk in the castle grounds. From hidden portraits, as well as spots from the caves, the cult will break in from the inside sowing terror.

The idea during this phase is that the Cult is not organizing attacks, but attempting to strike everywhere innocent people are to break the moral as well as break the discipline of the army when they learn their loved ones are being attacked. I plan for this to not be a pleasant experience, so while heroics will be expected, their is going to be A LOT of suffering. (About 6-10 posts of this stuff from both sides, depending on number of people)

Phase Three: The Knight Descends

In phase three, it's Sei's hard hitting counter attack as well as Cassandra's insertion Via a secret route into the castle by a betrayer to the IK. This is when the IK get it together and begin to whip the Cult like red headed step children. It will be brutal and violent in this as battle is truly born. During this time, Sei and Cassandra are playing opposites. Cassandra is looking for something in particular, avoiding Sei at all costs, while Sei is fighting to get to her and take her out.

Phase Four: The Night Lifts

In phase four, Sei and Cassandra will have their showdown while the last major engagements take place. Hero versus super villain, and so forth. Everyone should get their badass moments in. For those who are not Sei and Cass, this is the last posts for you.

Final Phase: The Sun Rises

In the final phase, it's the aftermath. Critical players will get in final posts, followed by Sei and ending with Cassandra.


Now, Sei and I have already discussed this in great length. We both are familiar with what we want to get out of this, and we both agreed it would be boring to do this battle with just our alts. So that's why we are opening it to the public. I don't want too many posters, so I will be screening those who volunteer and picking team IK and team CBT. I think with Sei and I running the show as team captains to motivate and set the pace of the story, it will allow the other players the opportunity to go nuts without fear of stalling up the thread. (In other words, unless otherwise notified, Sei and I would move the plot, you guys just go freaking nuts and kill stuff!)

So there you have it Althanas! Good versus Evil, the first real war with the Ixian Knights! Do you hate them with a passion enough to deal with the Cult to get your teeth bloodied in their flesh? Do you value your loyalties to Sei as a member of his order or value the natural law of order to stop what is clearly chaotic evil? Where will you side? Choose now and we'll go from there. Also, please post ideas you have to make this really kick off well!

Remember, you need not be a part of the cult, there is incentives Cassandra can do to reward those who will aid her in her quest. Same for the IK, you don't need to be a part of them to stop the bad guys.

The Night is coming….

First Phase: The Cultists will handle most of these posts, as they are great ways to introduce them without flogging down the thread. As such, the respective players will be:

ROI – Opening
El Diablo – follow up
TwinCast/Tainted Bushido (Either or) – Knight’s response
Seed

And that is all we need to establish what the hell is going on.

Phase 2: The Knight Falls
ROI – setting the stage for the attack of the giant spiders, and the brunt of the forces coming to attack including the Knight’s of Dawn. (Who hate Mystics with a passion after the Mystic War.)

Revenant – Set up the gravity of the situation, throw in some NPC’s for the IK and get to it.

The Last Wolf – Introduce the main elements of the army, and do your thing.

TwinCast/Tainted Bushido (whichever one) – Assault on the medical ward/attack on Anita Orlouge.

Revenant – Set up for the plan you and I had, demonstrate the onslaught in the courtyard. Please introduce the elements of the Trainers joining the frey (Questions please ask, I got an idea brewing with you and Ta’Gaz.)

Seed – Do your thing with

Sagequeen – find Azza and help mitigate the damage.

Enigmatic Immortal – NPC crowd control.

Phase 3 – The Knight descends

Here is where a strict need of events is completed. ROI and SEI will manage the continuance of the plot, the rest of you guys GO APESHIT AND HAVE FUN! Hommunculous and everyone else I didn’t mention, go ahead and post, but please leave about two posts of breathing room before posting again. Sei and I will watch the flow and post to move the plot along. If you guys want to set up meeting on the field of battle and going at it, or would like to request battling with an NPC of either side, go for it! Just let Sei or I know!

Phase 4

Okay, everyone needs to get in their conclusions, including the climax of Sei and ROI. Wrap up any loose ends in 1 to 2 posts.

Phase 5

Only Revenant, ROI, EI, and SEI should be posting in the final phase to clear up the loose ends.

I see no real harm in getting started with that now and posting. It's nothing overtly critical that it's phase specific. Please go ahead and draft your post and put it up now, good sir.

Phase Three is underway! I'd like to think of this as the lightening round: Everyone can get as many posts in as they want defending and attacking the castle so long as you play within the rules.

Remember, it's easy to powergame in situations like these, but let's not get carried away! I want you to have fun, but don't go too nuts kids.

The Ixian Knight's should start mounting a comeback, especially now that Sei is going to soon be entering the picture! (I do believe a few captains are going to be showing up as well...*meep!*) So do not let the impression fade that they are a highly trained and organized military unit, and the shock and surprise of the assault is starting to wear off.

That being said, the Cultists fever will continue to grow now! The Giant spiders are sending the larger of their numbers inside to the main facility not to mention that haunting aura of dread Cassandra has is letting them know the Dark Mother has arrived to Ixian Castle. Now, more than before, they will fight like zealots to earn favor with their twisted mother. At this point, just assume they are on LSD and think they are supermen. (best thing I could think of to describe them)

Ghouls - by the by- are demonically enhanced humans who were driven insane. See El Diablo's post for an explanation.

Chaplains - by the by- give righteous might and what not to the Ixian Knight's. They shout a lot.

There is no longer a strict posting order. Everyone is free to post whenever they want, but I do ask you wait for two posts to go on. Advancing the plot is NOT A CONCERN for you guys. Unless asked by myself or Sei, assume we got this under control. Just have fun guys, and make the battles a true struggle. It's no fun when someone just beats on another.

In addition, please note that unless you work it out with myself or Sei, you are not to interfere with Cassandra and Sei's characters. We have work to do of our own advancing the plot, and we need to keep to that. I already got several people who I'm working with to give them face time with Cassandra, and I'm sure Sei is down, but please ask us first before assuming we're going to be meeting you.

Last Wolf, now's the time to make way and engage Harold Andres, got curly black hair like a mop head. Leather armor over robes, died in blacks and lined in greens with gold buttons. He's above average with that long sword, so you should be able to get a good match out of him.

Just an aside, Seth is moving with his own purpose, and so if you guys find you are looking at a short post, you CAN bunny Seth. He will be constantly moving about the castle, he will kill anything that slows him down and keep moving maintaining a fast pace. He will be curt if he does talk and he will not actually post with any of you. If you DO want something more involved PM me on the Twincast and CC it to Tainted Bushido. I'll try to respond asap. So long as he keeps moving around, I'll try to keep you appraised of roughly where he is. Right now he's near the Dorms heading for the Infirmary.
