Is it just me, or has it been a crazy winter?

Let me put it this way, I live in northern Minnesota (right on the tip of Lake Superior), and today was the first snowstorm we've had this ENTIRE YEAR. This is incredibly odd considering where I live. Has it been so weird all over the place, or is it just my area of the country? I don't get it!

I'm in Michigan, so not super far from you, but yeah, it's been a weird year for weather. Very mild winter. I don't think we've had snow on the ground for more than a couple days at a time, and snow has been very rare.
