The Timberlake Blade (http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll84/kmelaza/crystalsword.jpg)

This is a slender, lightweight blade constructed with a variety of materials. Its handle is made of Liviol, polished and treated with rust tinted crimson dye. The pommel and cross guard is constructed out of a silver and Delyn polymer; it houses a pressurised mechanism that inverts the flat spikes of the cross-guard into guards against bladed weapons running along the edge of the blade itself. The material combination gives the sword an off kilt weight, allowing the Salthias sword art to work perfectly in harmony with the sword.

The dual edged blade was created through geomantic magic, elegant craftsmanship and many ritualistic treatments of the primarily glass based composition. It is built out of haematite; enchanted crystal cut quartz and a treated blend of valaiyalman sugar glass from the Nirakkal of Fallien. This gives the blade an ice like appearance and a shimmering, light catching quality when it is moved. It is possible to tether a length of silk or muslin to the pommel.

• It naturally carries poisons, and the blade can transfer anything applied to it much more effectively than standard metals.
• The pommel can detach, allowing rings to be placed about the hilt. Any magical enchantments on such rings will manifest as properties for the blade, effectively becoming spells that are channelled along the crystalline matrix that is housed with the blade’s icy length.
• Any wound inflicted with the Timberlake Blade causes a searing, ice cold pain to spread from the site of impact. It is effectively chilblains, driven by the enchantments on the blade (giving the blade a X1.5% strength modifier when wielded effectively).

If I remove the strength modifier, and the Nirrakal glass, where does that leave me? (In effect, it'd be a non-magical blade with the ability to place rings on it's hilt).

With the mechanism in the hilt still in place, this would allow me to claim the reduction from the PG War.

1575, since the ability to take on other enchantments count as a basic enchantment, and you didn't specify which kind of Liviol the blade is made from, which forces us to assume you're using Nihon Redwood. If you would like to alter your request to a lower end material, the base material we will calculate your blade from will always be the most expensive material you include in the creation of the weapon.

Please reply here if you would like to try again.

Please reduce the wood base of the blade to maple.

900, using Delyn as the base material.

Reduce the hilt to steel, and a weight reduction in the blade (mundane means) and I think this will be about ready!

Thanks for your patience.

(Out of interest, what's the price for the above, and what's the price with the initial frost bite effect?)

Excellent!

Thank you for helping me make this work.

I'll take the frostbite enchantment.
