Personality
Zen is very reserved, preferring instead the solitude and quiet of her work and study. She is extremely cautious around people, especially those she does not know, which has on more then one occasion come off as rude. However if she finds one worthy of her time and loyalty, she finds that she would do anything for them, sometimes without thinking it through.
Appearance
Zen, already tall, appears taller because of a straight posture when she stands. Her black hair tumbles down her slender form. However, her hair is rarely seen because she frequently pulls it back for work or has it hidden under her oft worn cloak that seems to only reveal her bright green eyes.
Three Abilities
Spell Song; Turlin -- Enchanting :: The Turlin School manipulates magic itself, destroying undead, binding the will of others, and warding off other spells. Zen uses her skill in this school to put minor enchantments on items. She can take mundane trinkets such as rings and charms and imbue them with magic to weaken undead, provide minor resistance to supernatural mental influence, or provide 'good luck'."

Spell Song; Lissilin -- Enchanting:: The Lissilin School may sound sweet, but is capable of simple healing and purging the deadliest of poisons. Zen uses her skill in this school to put enchantments on items. She can take simple trinkets, such as rings and charms, and imbue them with magic to offer minor healing, better health, and vitality.

Spell Song; Lissilin -- Healing:: The Lissilin School though sweet sounding, is capable of both simple healing and purging the deadliest of poisons. Zen uses her skill in this school to heal minor to moderate wounds and illnesses in both herself and others.

Staff Skill - Zen is somewhat skilled with the use of a staff as a weapon, though finds herself to be somewhat clumsy with it, especially around people who have annoyed her. she also finds it a useful distraction when a quick exit is needed.
Basic medicine - Zen has a basic understanding of medicine that she has learned to help aid in her charm and healing abilities.
Music - Zen has studied music to help enhance her spell singing and for pleasure, and thus has a basic understanding of music.
Charm and Jewelry crafting - On occasion, Zen creates her own charms and jewelry to enchant. Thus, she has become familiar with basic charm and jewelry crafting.

History
Zen was born Eluriand. As a young child her mother, a spell-singer, sang to her many songs and taught Zen how to play the flute. Her father, a respected diplomat, was often not around. When he was, he was often up late in the study working, where Zen would go and sit with him to read the newest book he had acquired for her while he worked. Zen’s one sibling, a sister, would frequently make her trinkets, dreaming of being able to one day sell them. Zen would reluctantly help her sister make these when she asked.
That was Zen’s life until the day of the undead horde. Singing, flutes, late night books, and trinkets from far off places. The day the horde arrived will forever be burned into Zen’s memory. The horde killed Zen’s family. Her mother, father, and even her sister who had made it so far with her died. Zen was the only one of her family to escape.
After undead horde’s attack Zen started her official training in spell songs, specifically Lissilin and Turlin. She continued to make the trinkets that her sister taught her how to make, and learned others as well. With her skills, Zen hopes to try to rebuild and heal her homeland, frequently traveling to do so.
