[I][I]To who it may concern.

Hi,my name is Seth keen. Most of yall know who I am. Some of y'all Know of me but do not know me personally. Here recently I have had too go to the hospital with a 6 year old little boy suffering from back to back sezures were he was Life Flighted to UMC Children's Hospital in El Paso, Texas.

Well a major problem was encountered with Sierra Vista Hospital in TorC. When I called Sierra County Central Dispatch to request an Ambulance for this little boy. I specially told them that his Neurologist said to get him to the nearest Pediatric center Immediately.

What followed that conversation is some of the most appalling events that I have ever had the horror to witness. Instead of doing what was ordered. This little boy was takin to Sierra Vista Hospital. Now what you should know about tthis place is that it is not a hospital at all. It even really a health clinic. They do not have any doctors that work there. At any given time. There is one doctor there that has come from another hospital in the state.

Other then that, there are just nurses and EMT's. there is no pharmacy, no pediatricians, no neurologists, no radiologist, no doctors, no social workers, nothing. We where actually told by the doctor the fist night we went there that it was his last night there/. The reason for that was because they had 5 elderly ppl in that hospital that were literally dieing, and there was nothing that he was allowed to do to help. All he was allowed to do was sit and wait for them to die and them call the time iof death. His words were and I do quote these words "This is not a hospital at all. It is a morgue." To me. That means that this place is in reality a form of Purgatory.

Now I may not be a lawyer, or a politician, or a doctor. But I do know that what this "Morgue" is doing is slightly illegal. This little boy while in Sierra Vista the second time in less then 12 hours had a minor stroke, the nurse that witnessed it went out of the room and told the on staff doctor about it and all the doctor said was ok, I will keep an eye on it but not to worry about it.

So lets recap. This little boy. 6 years old who was suffering from back to back sezures and had a minor stroke was not prolly cared for at Sierra Vista, "The morgue" not hospital.

We demanded that he be transferred and thus he went to El Paso, TX.

There is where he got some amazing treatment. The staff there was very professional, very nice, and all around great. This hospital was brand new. state of the art. Top of the line Equipment. The rooms were also amazing. in the room that we were in. There was a great view of Mexico form the window. Above the flat screen RCA tv, there was a light bored I guess you would call it. Carved in to the word of the light cover were stars, The same stars were also etched into the back rest of the chair that sat with the desk. the colors of the room wre white, blue and yellow. There was even a child library. On the first floor in the lobby there was an Enchanted Forest Play Area. They even had a children's bistro on the basement level.

But now back to Sierra Vista. In the ER waiting room. There is a sign that basically says "We do not have any doctors on staff if you are sick, coughing, or anything like that. Stay home.

Now when a doctor or a nurse graduates from where ever they studied. they take a Hippocratic oath stating that they would do everything in there power to aid a patient no matter what. But Sierra Vista does not do this. They simply look at them. Give them a few diagnosis, maybe some meds, and send them home. If an elder is dieing, they simply wheel them into a room and leave them to die. Like I said. Appalling. Truly Sad

Another thing about UMC that showed me how much they cared about there patients is that when they discharged this little boy. The RN on staff cried with out even knowing him for twelve hours. The EMT's on Life Flight cried as they were leaving the ER upon getting him there.
