El Diablo Perro

Cause everyone is doing it.
Name: Alexander “Memnar” Rayz
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Size: 6’0
Appearance: Memnar is garbed in a robe like coat made of leather. It’s a bit tight around the midsection and chest, but flow at his feet behind him and lowers to just about his shins. He wears a hood that covers his eyes, but they are of no consistent color. His hair is a soft blonde, and his skin is pale in coloring.
Demeanor: Memnar is polite. But he isn’t as you would think the word means. He is offensive in his etiquette, clearly talking down to those around him. Unless one’s mind is capable of matching his, he will try not to waste his time. He is quick to excuse himself, hardly speaks unless necessary, and is always cold in his nature. His eyes constantly shift around as he analyzes the things he sees. The term emotion is lost to him, as he hardly makes any grand indications of fear, terror, joy, bliss. He experiences them as would any other man, but he is a bit more tempered by them and acts accordingly.
Only one thing piques his curiosity: Power.
History:
I could ramble on and on here, telling you about my “tragic story” and how I overcame adversity. Perhaps a tale about demons wrecking villages, or someone from my past I am after. Or maybe…maybe…you could just assume like every other blasted person on this miserable cuss of a planet, I have a sob story. I have a goal in life I wish to achieve. How I do it is irrelevant to you or even myself.
I want power. Ultimate…World Changing…Power. That is all I desire and all you need to know about me.
Skills:
Alchemy: Memnar has studied in depth the effects of mixing potions and hers and other synthesizing materials for temporary boosts or hindering poisons. He is an expert on the subject.
Apothecary: Memnar has studied a great deal on the human body and knows all about the anatomy of a person.
Lore Hound: Memnar is a studious individual, having spent many weeks at a time reading all the vast wealth of knowledge in libraries, gaining tutelage under the greatest thinkers, and even exploring lost civilizations. When it comes to the lore of things, Memnar is rather well versed. Unless it is considered a unique aspect of your character, Memnar knows a little of everything on the subjects of Religions, Divinity, Magic and the different arts, and history. This doesn’t give him any in character edge during battles, but an IC understanding of a broad assortment.
Duelist: Memnar has trained in a nobleman’s academy. He deplores the ideals of swordplay, but is considered Average with a Rapier or Saber type weapon.
Observant/Processor: Memnar is always analyzing things with a scientist’s curiosity and cold detachment. He processes the things around him as if looking at raw data and can quickly think of solutions to complex problems and problem solve in situations most would give up.
The Mind of a Madman: Memnar is unique in the way he has trained his brain to process information. He is always studying and can analyze even the basest of things. To keep his mind from going insane from the information he is gathering he has the ability to store all bits of information in his mind. He can recall anything he has studied with fondness and even the briefest of recaps will catch him up to speed on information he already knows. Not designed in any way to give an IC edge in battles.
Cantrips: Minor, non battle oriented magical spells that are primarily used for keeping one’s life simpler. (Clean his clothing, cook his food, wash himself clean) Cantrips can never be used in a battle for any form of IC gain.
Abilities:
Whip of Flame: Memnar can create a six foot long strip of flame in his hand that functions like a whip, but also has fire properties. Embers burning off of the whip are flammable. The Whip will cause moderate fire burns when contacted, unless you hold it for a length of time. Lasts for three posts.
Embers of Ashes: Memnar can create golf ball sized fireballs and throw them at the target like he would a rock. It is heated and clearly hot to the touch and will singe the flesh like holding a piece of coal in your hand. It functions exactly like a rock though, so a quick witted individual may catch the ball, hit the ball back, block or parry it. He can toss an unlimited number of them in a thread, but only once a post. Also, this spell may never be cast from the hand that is covered in ice. (Cosmetically, I have heated rocks I can cast. If you wish to know damaging power a bow and arrow is far more lethal than this parlor trick)
Gasp of Pain: Once a thread Memnar can grab his opponent and double any pain they feel and amplify it for one post. In so doing this, Memnar cannot, on his next post, cast any of his other magic tricks. (Dispells Claws of Ice)
Equipment:
Claws of Ice: Memnar can create a sheet of ice over one hand at a time to create a claw much like a beast. It covers as much of his hand as an iron glove would, and is as strong as iron. It is summoned to his hand in the time it would take a normal to snuggly fit a glove on their hand. (In short, cosmetically, this is a sheet of ice, but is in fact just him summoning an Iron Gauntlet)
Personal Robes died black and made of leather.
Boots, travelling back with various books and an alchemy set that is emptied.
