Funny thing is... before I posted, I had just made a tray of oven bacon.

Oven bacon trumps all...

Take bacon, lay out on baking sheet (feel free to line pan with foil).

And then place in cold oven. Set oven to 400, bake for 10 minutes plus a few, depending on how crispy you like it. Perfect every time, and you can do it naked, unlike skillet bacon.

I actually have a jar of baconnaise, and it's okay, I guess. The real issue with it is that it's not just mayo made from/with bacon, but mayonnaise flavored like bacon with a few unidentifiable bits of something in it. It's actually kosher. It says it on the jar.
