A great guy who seems to love this thread. His comments are encouraging to everyone and he doesn't seem to show any signs of running out of them. Keep it up.
Z-man's an awesome person to RP with. He gives great effort and is a superior writer and hopefully we can have a thread that goes further than the ones we were in did. All counts were my fault I'm afraid.
Reiko is too damn nice. Always helping people, saying encouraging words...it's just...just not normal.
Another person that plays a human. I now it's tempting to play any other race but human, but I'm glad he chose to. I hope he'll remind some that human characters can still do awesome things.
By the way, did you draw that avatar? I like it.

I don't know where Dissinger here got his idea for the Lavinian Ale, but by golly it's the best bitter drink I've actually enjoyed drinking. :D
In my opinion, he has a cool name for his sword on that account. Kazeryu, you know it'd be one of those names that once you saw the sword one and heard it's name, you would recall the name everytime you saw that sword again ICly.

Doesn't it feel good to know that you make people's hearts feel warm and fuzzy on the inside? I think that's good enough.
wow your first solo scored a 59, that's awesome for a level zero character. my solos never were so hot and I think that's a great start, most new members take a while before they score that high^^

Reiko: I haven't talked with you much nor have I role played with you, but I always hear grand things about you. Maybe someday we should have our characters meet, maybe battle or maybe become friends. I don't know.
Artifex: I too think that we should role play sometime. I thought it was funny the first time I read your equipment, yarn as a weapon and a bell as armor. I have never seen that before. I wonder how some people manage more than one character at a time(this is my only character on Althanas, and will probably stay that way).
In saying these things, I am eligible for another sweet comment!(I may be going a little overboard in this thread, I tried giving it a break but I just love seeing what people say about me)

Lucien/Cory...well, he's one of the fastest people to become a mod after first coming here (maybe aside from Atzar). He's also an excellent writer, even if he doesn't want to admit it.

I've been waiting to say something about Atzar.
I was just sitting around one morning, shuffling through the site, when I nopticed his name was in italics. That's when I realized that this guy had become a mod, without me noticing it, and of Scara Brae, no less. That was Tyler's work at first, and those are big boots to fill...but he's reworked the missions boards and supplied new ones. I'm very impressed. I haven't read any of his writing just yet though...but I'm going to do it right now. More praise may be in order.
If you like what you see, we should do a quest sometime. I've read over a few of your things, and I'm impressed to say the least. People have called you an excellent writer, and I see no reason to dispute it.
After talking to Witchblade, we mutually decided we are so glad that he was chosen to be the mod for Scara Brae. I imagine being part of the staff is hard work, in fact I'm told I should be glad I'm not. However I think Atzar can handle it, just as I think he'll do great things with Scara Brae.

Even though I say that now, and I ragged on it when I judged it, the writing was very good even if the premise wasn't. Also, one of the few vampire characters I actually sit through a thread with.

Without Manda, Althanas didn't seem to be the same. Hell, I even fell off with my posting, and left for a while. But now that she's back, well, the site's about to get a little more badass, I'm sure, if her solo, The Desert has anything to say about it.
Furthermore, she's one of the few older Althanians whose stuck around. I even happen to remember seeing the Metallica(____) accounts popping up on the IW all those years ago. And unlike metal, which rusts, she's more like bourbon -- it gets better over time. Manda's writing is some of the best Althanas has on display, and I'm glad to write in any thread with her.
(Yes I'm kissing her ass. If I don't she'll hurt me somehow.)
heh, Dan's probably has the coolest and most prolific weapon on Althanas. He's a good RPer that really can play a badass well.

The bard has a very interesting character thats actually quite refreshing to see among all the battle oriented characters on this (or pretty much any RP) board.

one of the best weird characters around. Krugor has something that many oddball characters don't have that seem to make him feel real, which shows how skilled he is.
He always comes up with something new. I mean c'mon, who expected to see Kit and Inari fuse into one being before he mentioned it? Which reminds me, I still have to be in a thread with Ki now.

hehe, Sarah's one of my favorite femme Fatals on Althanas. I just like how she has grown from being sexchanged Seth into her own complete character. A really original idea^^

I've gotten around to reading Charms and Story of a Wanderer recently and the writing is indeed impressive for someone that hasn't been on here long. Then again, all one has to do is look at the content he invented from the quests on the SB mission boards to know Atzar is highly imaginative.

Alright, to give the compliment I had originally intended...
Raven's an excellent judge, and his criticism of my first solo was very helpful. Additionally, he's one of the few guys with the balls to play both females and cats. And he does it well, too ;-)
Haven't really RPed with this guy much, but I've seen his face on a lot of stuff happening throughout Althanas, and it's all good. (So far as I know.)
I'm almost certain he is of good writing quaity, although I have never read any of his work.
I can also proudly say, that that is one fucked up and most deliciously wicked sweet avatar. The rise of the squirrels. :)

His works are of fine quality and has a knack for improvising plotlines on the fly. Or so Master Raven has told me. ^^

The signature is kick-ass, and the character is...unusual(girly tomboy?)...the fact that she is level one shows her devotion to this site as well. I haven't read her works, but i'm sure she's good.

He's an older member than I am, but I'll ommit that and say that he's new and he's got skills. He's not the generic demonic oaf, nor the almost-as-generic good demon; he can convey the guy's emotions and trail of thought quite well!
Also, I'm just guessing by his name, but he reads Terry Goodkind. And don't tell me he's not good, or I'll... cry and run home. :(

I try to be around as much as I can. When I get into like ten threads, i'll probably stop and wait to finish a couple. I am VERY active, so it's easy to keep up(the main reason I have the list of threads I am in is for my own good, not for you fools. It helps me keep track).
Current threads I am in: 8(1 I haven't posted an intro in, yet, but will soon. It isn't in my sig either).
Okay, now for something nice about Oriseus... Hmm, I like your avatar too. I went to see Eragon on Saturday and it was pretty good, for some reason it actually reminded me of your avatar. That guy kind of looks like the ranger that suddenly meets up with Eragon in the middle of the movie(that might be considered a spoiler, cover your eyes!). I do love my avatar, I felt that a close up pic of Loz from FF7: Advent Children suited Ravenok just perfectly.
Oh, and Zerith told me that you're his little brother. That's kickass, dude. I wish my brother would come on here and play on Althanas with me...*tear*

I love this characters personality. Thinks nothing of anyone except for himself, and is easily pissed off. Which makes for an entertaining quest, and a very fast paced exchange of diologue, if the posts are short enough.
No forum is complete without a ninja, and Althanas is no exception. Komosatuo here plugs that hole for Althanas. Now, all we need is an orc...
I like the writing style, though... very descriptive.
he's the only ninja I know on the site. Someone's bound to copy him^^ He's also a pretty good RPer that has been around almost as long as me if not longer.

has a really neat mage character, mine really flop so it shows how much skill he has to have one work well.

Also, Gala is... Not a Pigeon. They eat bread crumbs. She writes and goes around on ATVs if I saw the pic right. And ATVs are awesome so long as bell bottom pants aren't worn. That makes The face melter/hugger awesome!

Doji may be one of the most respected female characters on here.
I love Reiko's writing and the utter originality of her character.
Ah, here we go. I was waiting for Dante to post in here so I could give him what he deserves.
Dante has come up with a fairly original idea for his first quest, and I'm pretty excited in the direction it'll go in, especially for Javet. In addition, the character is off beat, a departure from the usual battle oriented characters like myself.
That was very flattering.
Javet's character is very unique in terms of his job. Truth be told, I haven't seen any paladins around even on the other sites I write on. Javet's writing is very good too. And although he said his posts weren't going to be as long as everyone else's, they seem just as long to me. (And just as good).
Now, to say what I had originally written.
Dante's quest in Scara Brae is a refreshing departure from the norm. Nobody in recent history has interacted with the nobility there. Also, you've chosen my realm, so I may get to judge your thread myself...

A new face on Althanas that I have come to enjoy reading up on. Blends the elements of FF and DMC quite well within the character, as well :p
he has a ranger character that doesn't use two weapons, ergo making the character original^^
Also he seems to be really good form the couple of posts I've read and I can't wait to see what comes.

@Oriseus: Glad there is someone who can recognize my work here. I like how he's a ranger and incorperates elements from books like Eragon. While some might complain that this is "unoriginal", I am glad there is someone out there who does that too. Its not a sign of lack of imagination; just respect for the author(s)'s work.
By the way, is that a picture of Murtagh?

@Reiko: An althanas veteran who incorperates japanese elements well. I hope to see her works more in the future.
Although he did a good thing to warn people from seeing the Eregon movie if they have read the book. He is too late in my case.
However I also played and finished the video game, so I knew what the movie was going to be like ahead of time.
Seth has been recieving many compliments on his writing and how some have enjoy reading his work. I am looking forward to our quest in Scara Brae and still wonder which side is going to win. Will it be Z-Man and the Knights? Or Seth and Jimmy with the Scourge?

Umm... Your character is really cool. Original... not too often I can say that about a demon. Like someone said before, they're either the asshole bad demon or the saintly good demon. Refreshing change, and it makes your writing all the more interesting.

Pretty funny how I come up with a reply tagged along with another compliment for you, Seth.
I'm enjoying reading up on your threads, and the fact that you went all out on your character is outstanding. I was surprised to see you were accepted with all the details and stuff your character has.
On a note regarding your comment earlier, yes I use a pic of Murtagh for my avatar, simply because I found it, and instantly thought to myself he'd make a killer Althanas character. My first character, Lisean, joined the repetoire of anime representations of characters here, so I figure my second should be a little more realistic.
I was amused when I watched Eragon on the big screen. I laughed and said "Why don't I just call Ori Murtagh?" I know I used his image as a picture, but I didn't expect there to be so many similarities. :p
Oh, and I second Seth's warning. If you've read the book, be prepared to be hit hard with the movie. Although it was a little on the disappointing side, it's still worth seeing "just for the dragon fight," as Z-man puts it.

I'm going to have a big quest in, probably, Alerar, that is solo and reveals many character developments, but I have to set time aside to do it. It'll reveal a horrible truth about mriswith and the Bladewraiths that makes Ifrit question his sanity.^_^
She truly unleashes her femenine side in her roleplaying, which is cool. Example: "Pretty swirls..." 0_o

A nine tales character is always awesome, and for a time I thought about creating a character like that. 'Doji Ki' is a kick-ass name too. Where'd you think of it?
he has nods to videogames and puts effort into his writing, what's not to like. Also he has lots of potential to kick all kinds of ass.
Well the history of the name is that I used Doji as a samurai family name since it sounded cool and Kadenzaa was born from a samurai father. Ki came from when Kadenzaa and Inari fused together and I wanted to combine their names. I used the first letters and when combine it made Ki, which was japanese for spirit and I thought it fit.

Zerith is Vet to Althanas, and a damn good one at that! He has a nice flow with his writing style, a kickass character with a kickass halberd, and he made his own Powergroup. And even with marriage and the planning of a child on the way, he still finds time for us.

I always acknowledge characters that are different than what I've seen here on Althanas. Aside from the usual vampire, or neko, or what-not.. you have to be the first librarian I've ever seen here.

I've never fought Leon, but I suppose that's because I don't own the legendary weapon; "Rolled up Newspaper".
However...the nice thing about Leon is he's been here for quite some time, and it's nice when people actually stick with Althanas. A lot of people call it, jokingly, virtual crack, but a lot of new guys unfortunately post for a while then vanish for good. Plus, Nekoprince's been dealing with my many bazaar transactions for two years or more, so you know he has patience.

Sometimes the fights Dann has with Seth are good, but there haven't been any recent ones.
We need to come up with one before I move on with Seth's storyline.
As for you Mister CEO. I have to say you definitely have a nice take charge attitude. I hope your PG works because you definitely have the drive and leadership values to make it do so.

Seth here may have based his character creation off of Dante (DMC) and Cloud (FFVII) but his character is growing up in quite a unique fashion. I'd love to see where his Ifrit heads off to next.

he plays a half demon and does it well, most people who play half deomns are really lazy.^^

His character's name is a combination of two of the coolest words to be found in an encyclopedeia.
Ifrit always conjures up an image of my own Djinni character (other forum) gone insane and evil. Obsidian is just... plain... cool.
Also, the Bladewraith code in the signature? Totally awesome.

Alrighty, he seems a nice guy and, due to the amount of enthusiasm and skill he puts into his writing, I can see him spearheading the 'new Althanas generation'.
Not alone, mind you, since I have to say that the influx of new or returning good writers on the site has been impressive. I won't mention any names, apart from Seth of course, but the amount of beginning Althanians whose talents in writing transcend my own drive me into a state of burning envy. And admiration, of course.

Devin's writing scares me. His Solo got 86, for heaven's sake! That's big, but well-deserved. Plus, he says he's new, which adds to the whole flummoxing reality that he opens cans of whoopass... with words.
I like the idea of althanas having a librarian character. It's different and not like the typical adventurer or knight in shining armor. Also I can tell that Atar's an incredible writing just by reading a few of her posts. If Atar keeps up the decidication to writing here, it's only a matter of time until we see another JC.

I remembered we were going to have so much fun in a quest with Urei. Too bad it didn't lift off, though it'll be fun to revisit that again sometimes.
And as far as I'm concerened... She's our first and very own water nymph! That's certainly unique in a world of hack-n-slash like this one. :)
Yamihara created a really cool homeland and even got it made as a sub region^^
Also he's an awesome and very generous artist who drew great pics of Ki, as well as Kit and Inari when they were separate.
