Hi. I'm Dot, and while I love PbP roleplaying, I *hate* the introduction part, so I decided to skip that, and just get to the basics, namely, I'm Dot, and I like Batman. A lot. More on that later.

I'm 22, a writer by trade (freelance for local magazines), and a girl. I only add that part because virtually every time I'm on a forum, 95% of the people assume otherwise. I garantee you before I leave her, someone will refer to me as he or him. It's fine. I just don't want to confuse anyone.

SPEAKING OF CONFUSION--maybe I'm reading wrong, but am I supposed to create only one character to RP with in various settings, or a new single character every time I play a new story...?

Hi Dot. You can register 1 character per account, though people have been known to have multiple IC characters on 1 account, so long as they're all registered in the Realm of Greeting. If you'd like another 'mainstay character' as I like to call them, then it would be pertient of you to register another account for that character. Don't worry, you can register multiple accounts to the same email here.

If you would like some 'throwaway' character stories, then I would suggest the Nexus area of our forums. In there, you can create as many characters as you want, with pretty much no limitations for 'short stories' or 'one-shots', or whatever you want to call them

If you need anything else, I'm happy to assist. You can reach me via private message, or instant message of 'ashtonwise' on AIM. I'm also available to roleplay with, and if you'd like to find a pool of people to help roleplay with you, I'd like to suggest my powergroup, the Ixian Knights, located in the Power Groups section. : D Hope I helped!

While Iron Man is one of my favorite Marvel characters, I grew up with Batman and he'll always hold the top spot in my heart.

To put it this way, when the wife and I went and saw The Avengers we had a good time, when we saw The Dark Knight Rises she came out saying that I was so giggly and excited it was like watching a movie with a kid.

Plus, Batman's Rogue's Gallery outstrips Iron Man's by light years.
