New Logo Poll

Hello, everyone!

Althanas is about to get a facelift and part of that is a logo to head the forum and be used for promotional purposes. We've come up with a few options and would like you, our users, to help decide which to use. Constructive criticism/suggestions are welcome.

How to Vote

Choose your favorite in the poll, then comment if you have a color preference. Other color suggestions are welcome, as well.

A Side Note

If one of the more complex crests is chosen, we may select one of the simpler ones for instances when the logo will appear very small (affiliate banners, for example). I've allowed multiple choices so you may select more than one in that case.

As far as colors go, the bold red against the darker blue made it seem even darker. Maybe the red crests with a dark theme and the blue crests with a light theme?

1 is my favorite, either color. As for the simpler choice for banners, etc, I'd choose 4 (but I miss the quill :) ).

We are not speed freaks, Warpath. We are althanas. ;) Doubt that and I'll stomp your orks into the ground.


And I always thought of blue when I think of Althanas, not red.

Definitely this one for the full logo, for the condensed form I'd go 4. Blue.

Just on a side note, you are going to probably want more than one logo dependent on the size available. The v'bulletin logo at the top left should be replaced with a longer logo like No.3, where as you might use a smaller square one when you have to place it in a wiki, or similar.

The first one represents Althanas the most since
1. Althanas is about the quill just as much as the sword. (thus the Sword and the Quill should be the same size
2. The quote fits Althanas to the T since you do "Write your own legends."

As for the color, I agree that I have ALWAYS considered Althanas's colors as Blue and White.
