Personality: Daemien comes from a royal background. He grew up in court so he holds all the mannerisms of someone of royal upbringing. Like all Sidhe he delights in practical jokes and causing mischief. However since he was cast out his mood vascilates between bright and cheery to moody and sullen.
Appearance: He stands at 6'3" and at first appears lanky. However when he begins to walk it appears as if he is gliding across the floor. He holds himself in a very proud, regal manner. He wears a jet black silken shirt and trousers that match it, along with black leather boots which offset against the sheen of his silvery skin. A long black cloak billows out behind him as he walks, revealing a schlager blade in what appears to be an overly ornate scabbard. One would even wonder if the sword had any use other than an accessory to his outfit. Sometimes,when they are not in his traveling bag, 2 ferrets, one grey and one black, can be seen scampering around his feet.
History: Daemien was born into the court of the Unseelie Sidhe. Sidhe are types of faeries that delight in pranks and mischief. The Unseelie court is the more evil twin of the Seelie court. Quite often politics get out of hand. That is why,at the age of 4, Daemien was nearly assasinated by his own cousin. Since that day he grew and learned to watch his back, because no one else would. However, everyone leaves their guard down sometime. At the age of 200 Daemien dropped his guard for a lsight moment when he fell in love with his cousin's wife, Lucretia. He spent many evenings with her in secrecy. Unbeknownst to Daemien, his cousin had set it all up as a ploy to get Daemien banished. Soon enough, word of the affair got out and Daemien was banished from the court for attempting to steal his cousin's wife. Suddenly Daemien found himself in a place where he had no friends. He was soon captured by a group of slavers who imprisoned him for nearly 30 years. Finally, one day a druid chanced upon the slavers and ordered his ferrets, Shade and Shadow, to gnaw through Daemien's bindings. Once he was free he ran as fast as he could from the camp, trying to follow the druid's pets. When he reached the home of the druid he found a welcome there. The druid fed him and gave him shelter for the night. One night became 3. 3 nights became a week. 20 years later, the druid passed on, leaving behind the amulet that had allowed him to talk to his pets, who seemed to have unnaturally long lives. Daemien at that point, strapped on his blade, put the two ferrets into his bag and set off into the world. Now his only hope is to make more friends like the druid and,gods willing, to have a chance to revisit his home to seek vengeance on those who betrayed him.
