Ashla

Ashla sat on the windowsill; it was a dark and stormy night. She looked outside at the dark clouds and the pouring rain and reflected that she needed to get a coat sometime soon. The edge of the roof kept the rain from pounding onto her head; inside was a cylinder arena; it had never been used yet. On the walls were statues and suits or armor. Pillars kept the room standing. On the floor was a rich, red rug, and there was a fireplace. It was very dusty, but still a good place for a battle…

Ashla had come here in search of a battle because she was bored; but now, she was more than content to sit on the windowsill, just out of the rain.

She looked outside, despite it being cold; she liked the rain. The sound of the pattering on windows and rooftops calmed her down and led her to feel relaxed. Besides, rain helped life to flourish and grow. She breathed in the fresh, wet air and leaned against the window as her eyes began to drop, she was falling asleep. Just as she was about to drift away though, she heard a noise. She opened her eyes and looked around.

"Hello?" She asked, she looked around the outside. Nobody was there. She shook her head and slipped through the window ino the room. It was empty. She was confused, what was that noise. It was then that her cat, Fireleaf, ran up to her, "Oh, Fireleaf! it's just you!" the cat meowed as Ashla bent to pick him up. Ashla's hair was slighly damp, which made Fireleaf just jump down again, Ashla sighed, "You silly cat!" she chuckled.

Then Ashla heard the door open; Ashla's instincts told her to grab her weapons, she did. She pulled out her blades and whipped around to see if the newcomer was a threat to her, "Who are you?!"
