Hello everyone. As most of you have already noticed we've switched to a new java based platform for Althanas Chat. The change was made to free up system resources (those 508 errors were actually caused by the old AJAX chat) and to introduce greater vBulletin integration. I know many of you have had trouble connecting to the platform over the past few days and I want to go through and fix those problems. If you've had any problems, can you please post a reply here with the following information:
DATE/COMPUTER OS/BROWSER/ERROR MESSAGE (IF ANY)
As of now I'm aware of two problems:
-Folks using Linux cannot connect. This is an easy fix, and I will write a guide on how to do so.
-Folks on mobile browsers cannot connect. This feature is currently not available with the free chat (which I installed). It is $35. If you use a mobile browser to access the chat, please let me know. If we have enough people to use this, I will purchase the add-on.
