Sorish was back at the bazaar. He really need a gift for his girlfriend and this was the best place for it. So far he has had to protect her since she was foolish enough to not bring a sword on her adventure. How she survived without it for ten years was beyond him. As he walked people turned to stare at the giant creature. Some looked like they would attack while others shook in their boots. Sorish just ignored them as he walked through the street looking for a shop he had heard had good customer service as well as good weapons. The last one he went to was rude to him, calling him an amiture in the art of coral hardening. Anyway, as he walked into the dusty, hot, smithy known as Drakes Smith he looked around noticing the fine works of the swords. Indeed, this was the perfect place to find a sword perfect for his Korra. "Hello, anyone here?" he called out in his deep bass voice.

"Just a minute," a cracked voice called out from behind the thick leather curtain separating the main forge from the supply room. It was worn and weathered, but still as strong as the steel that it had spent a lifetime shaping. Several rustling moments later, a man as weathered as his voice pushed out from behind the curtain with a grunt. His frame wasn't one of a typical man in his profession, owning to the lack of bulging muscles on his frame, but the steel corded tendons threatening to tear free from his dried, leathery skin was enough of an indication of his strength.

"And what can I ...," the elderly blacksmith stopped when his eyes fell upon Sorish, taking in the Coralian's massive size with an expression of shock. "Well I'll be damned," he muttered to himself, shaking off the surprise. "Not I'm sure I've seen just about everything."

Returning his attention to Sorish, Drake the smith thrust his hands upon his hips to cover his momentary shock and began again. "And what is it I can do for you, uh, sir?"

Sorish smiled. "I'm in need of a steel short sword relative to my size. On the blade I would like you to write this word going down towards the hilt," he said handing a cloth with the word "Fidesh" on it. "That word means love in my language," Sorish explained, "As a tradition, when a coral man gives a gift with that word on / in it to a coral woman, they are engaged. The lucky woman is in need of a weapon so I thought that I would gift her an engagement sword."

The aged blacksmith sized Sorish with a measuring eye, still somewhat taken aback. "A short sword for you would be a regular sword for someone like - uh - me. That I can definitely do. And it wouldn't be hard to put your writing on it either."

Now in merchant mode, the blacksmith scratched at his chin, with his eyes half-lidded. "Something like that would be roughly 340 gold pieces. Does that work for you?"

"No, no, no," the merchant waved dismissively, quickly becoming numb to Sorish's odd appearance. "There is no extra charge for the sheath, unless you require something a bit more out of the ordinary from usual wood, leather, and excess scrap that goes into those things."

Sorish looked extremely excited as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a sack of coins and counted out the 340 mentioned plus an extra 68 (408) "A little extra for the great customer service my good sir." Sorish said putting the coins on the counter. "I'll be back in a few days to pick it up." He then turned to leave.

"Well!" the elderly smith exclaimed. "Thank you, my lord," he bowed deeply as Sorish departed. "I shall fashion you a sword that will make your beloved swoon."

Without further delay, the smith set to crafting the Coralian's sword.

5 days later Sorish picked up the sword and looked at the engraving, "Well done my good sir." He swung the sword a few times to test the balance, "Perfectly balanced." He then clashed it against his sword to test the strength, "Strong too, it will serve her well." Sorish then looked at the man then nodded, "You are indeed a master Blacksmith, again I thank you." Sorish then tossed 2 extra coins which the blacksmith caught. "Payment for a job well done." Then sheathed both of the swords and left.
