Teehee. Now all of you are subjected to my devious whims...

Cloud Blue

Approach of dawn and dusk
brings the smell of rain.
The dark blue
of the ocean
splayed across the
deepening heavens;
the sky, the whitecaps
to the rollicking waves
of ethereal life.
The last whispers
of pink and orange sunbeams
dance through
clouds blue.

Clear

Rushing cool and clear,
sparking beams of hope,
and dancing through leaves of silver
flies the color of purity.

Racing over slick pebbles
down a mountainside in spring
to join a waterfall
rushing cool and clear,

Illuminating skies
of pink and orange
breaking through clouds and
sparking beams of hope,

Winging over land
bearing birdsong
through snowy morns
and dancing through leaves of silver,

Granting proof of that which is unseen,
the invisible blessing;
to you
flies the color of purity.

I Dare You

Silence splits us now.
Our song fades, it's ended.
There's no use asking why
when you knew all the time
you wouldn't do it over.

I don't call you my mistake,
but you've always been
a challenge, a battle,
another dream to pass me by.

I dare you to remember,
I dare you to look inside.
No victims, no bias,
nothing left to fight.
I dare you to remember,
dare you to try to find
everything you threw behind...
I dare you to remember me.

Do you know where to start
when the sunrise ends?
I know you don't have time
to ask yourself why,
you gotta fake those grins.

Was I called your mistake?
Have I always been
your wasted time and burden,
the failure in your life?

I dare you to remember,
I dare you to look inside.
No victims, no bias,
nothing left to fight.
I dare you to remember,
dare you to try to find
everything you threw behind...
I dare you to remember me.

I dare you to try and see
back when you believed in me,
when you didn't have to lie.
I dare you to look past you,
and then past me.
Was all we had a lie?

This is my proof,
you can't hear the truth
because you're never wrong.
I made mistakes
but I dare you to
look past them all and maybe...

remember me.
