So, I know over the holidays it seems everyone gets really busy and Althanas activity tends to dwindle. It's not a surprise as obligation after obligation prevents all of us from finding the time to post the quality of roleplay posts we are accustomed to posting. Then, you throw in how hard it can be to keep up with a discussion thread after missing 2-3 days of the discussion. Basically, it wears on us all. To help deal with that, and maybe try to spur a little bit of extra activity around the holidays, Luned will be posting a bunch of different things which help break from the holiday doldrums. Somehow, I got roped into posting the first one (maybe it has to do with me offering the idea up initially? yeah, let's go with that.), and so I encourage all of you to take 2-3 minutes to post something in response. Don't spend a long time thinking on it, it'll be great even if you just post the first thing that pops in your head.

Using the person who posted before you come up with a band name which will feature them as the lead singer, as well as one real life musician and an Althanas character or player (include the instrument they'll play). Also, include their hit single or album.

(in the event multiple people respond to the previous person at relatively the same time, you may choose all of them or any of them. If one of them has been replied to previously -- this includes their current post or any previous in this game -- then please choose the other (s) as to help keep the game flowing)

As I said before, don't spend long thinking on it, just post whatever comes to mind. It doesn't have to be funny, but humor is encouraged. Your participation is appreciated!

Sounds nifty. I'll give it a shot

Logan on the washboard, Letho on the blowing jug, and the corpse of George Harrison on the banjo, with occasional guest appearence by Rayse Valentino on Keytair.

Band name - Mother Folkers

Hit single - I want you to Folk me (all night long)

Hit Album - Play With My Twang, featuring an acapella rendition of 'Cotton Eye Joe', and a harmony babershop quartet-like version of "All My Exes Live in Texas" which won the Mother Folkers 3 grammys, and somehow, a daytime emmy for best show.

Sei beat me to it, I was too distracted by photoshop.

2838

Logan shredding guitar, Freddie Mercury on vocals, Eviboulation Lee on tambourine. Hit single: Fat Bottomed Dwarves

And Sei, I am too out of steam to make this good, but between you and Amber Eyes and your IC and OOC families, I'm picturing something along the lines of Althanas' version of the Partridge Family...

Don't you mean the 'Sei'dy Bunch?
