And by that I mean, time to make Althanas at least a little bit active again.
Hello! You may remember me from such usernames as Amen or Warpath or...like twenty other ones. Anyway, Christmas break is coming up for a lot of us, which is a great opportunity for us to light a fire under the board's collective butt. I'd like to run a little cooperative thread with whoever's interested!
Here's the pitch: a handful of adventurers find themselves kidnapped and forced to fight for their lives in an underground arena for the amusement of a dastardly crowd of ne'er-do-wells. Individually they haven't got a chance, but maybe if they work together they'll find a way out before their captors can find something big enough to kill them all.
Simple and easy. I'm not looking to pen the next judge's choice here, but I think the best thing we can do is start writing with one another again, and get everybody's characters acquainted. If you've got a better idea, say so and we'll do that instead. Let's just do something. Hell, consider this an open call for threads - if you'd like to write, possibly with me, and you've got a vague idea for a story, fucking say so.
