Stream of Consciousness Ettermire Quest

Hello Althanians! I'm not sure how active people are on this site, but I found an idea that I'd like to try out. I want to get the barebones of a quest sorted out beforehand, but then let the actual typing be stream of consciousness. I'd like to hear if anyone has about 6 hours this at some point this weekend to be available for speedy replies. I'll be free 3-9 pm EST on Friday or Saturday; beyond that we can try to plan something out for the future. Let me know!

I am always available, the tricky part will be GETTING my character to Alerar, but I think I can squeeze a trip there for fun. My character is an Elf from Corone, so he doesn't bare the prejudices that Elves from Raiaera have towards Drow of Alerar. Either way it should be fun, just let me know what your idea is!!!

Well, my character is pretty naive and new to Alerar. It'd be relatively simple for your character to be hunting mine. Maybe Scar gets into trouble by being in the wrong place at the wrong time and Elthas is hired to take him out? If you'd like to do something outside of his job description, let me know!

I would love to get involved with one of my menagerie. Stream of conciousness is pretty much how I write 90% of the time :).

I think our plan to do the mercantile quest would be better with a more solid plan, so do you have another character you think might fit? My very self-centered thoughts at this point include being trained to fight, learning about the wilderness outside Ettermire, dealing with some of the seedy underbelly of the city itself, or researching more about my book :) Let me know if any of those give you good ideas, or if you'd like to do something else entirely!

As far as canon goes for my characters at the moment, Cydnar is enroute to, and otherwise readily available in Alerar. He is a very competent swordsman for the training idea.

Or his more erstwhile and professional (acting, at least!) brother. Any of those suit?

I'm actually looking for more of a brawler than a swordsman, but I'd be willing to work with you on something else! I still need people to help my character learn about pretty much anything in Althanas, so anything you're thinking I'd probably be game for :) Just no evil stuff :P

I think we've met already, but I'd offer up my array of characters for this service. Perhaps you'd like to do something wuxia.

absentwizard- wuxia is certainly closer to my fight style, so that'd be fine. Any thoughts on an outline for a training-type thread?

Cydnar- would your character do any sort of exploring of the wilderness of Alerar? Or perhaps be involved in helping/rooting out some undesirables within Ettermire?

Hey guys sorry I missed most of this lol. Anyway, you said you need someone sorta chasing your character? Well my character IS actually a Bounty Hunter by trade so that could work out very well. I don't know what the reason would be though other than purely a professional one. Maybe like once our two characters actually meet up we can work something else out ICly. I'm very flexible about things. But yeah I could definitely already be after your guy by the time I get to Alerar, and that could be the main reason Elthas is heading there anyway! Let me know what you think and when do you need me posting?

Cydnar would be most pleased with the chance to explore. He is a geologist by profession (amongst other things), and as a subterranean dweller, his opportunities to explore the surface for leisure are limited.

That'd be the better options of the two, for me, at least.

absentwizard- training in wuxia, whatever else you want to do
elthas- you're hunting Scar on a bounty, will work out the details later
cydnar- You and I perhaps both take a job that send us out into the wilds. Can work out details later, but it will largely be an exploration quest.
