Poker!

So in keeping with my next characters theme, im trying to work out how to run texas holdem poker IC and have a basis more or less set up. It would consist of using a random card generator. (this one is the one im thinking http://www.random.org/playing-cards/ ) once i have confirmed the number of players i will deal the cards as is fitting for Texas hold em, and basicly go through the hole process.
Deal 2 to each player, muck 3, deal 3, muck 1 deal 1 muck 1 deal 1. and keep track of what cards come up to be used during the actual thread. Each player will be PMed thier cards and we will proceed from there. ( i would also like to PM whatever judge may in the end judge the thread with all the details so as to insure the dealer and players dont try to fake their cards)

Anyways to test this possibility i need a few willing participants. 3 or more prefered to run a simple game here in the off topic for no real stakes. Each player will have 20 chips and blinds will be 1 and 2. turn order will be decided at random after having participants. there will be no expected rp as this will be an offtopic and none judged thread, but turn/posting order will be very important.

There might be a problem with that application you linked to, because as far as I could gather, it always draws from the full deck, so people might end up with the same cards. It might be easier to just take a deck in real life and deal the cards, then send the cards to the players.

Either way, I'd be interested in participating, though I don't think I'm a very good poker player.

thats why i draw all the cards
it eliminates them from the deck as long as you dont exit it so it will work, just the dealer will inherently know what cards are and are not in play (unlike rl where he has no better idea then the rest) thats the only flaw, well that and multi accounts sitting in on the same table :P

thats... not something for me to handle lol. Unfortunately cheating in this style will be kinda hard to do other then bribing the Dealer. im thinking it would have to be more straight forward and by the rules until some of universal "cheating" mechanic could be worked out. and in the future it will be IC, right now im going to be starting a small game OOC just to test the mechanics and how everyone feels about the mechanics, and also so the mods/judges can see how it works (as we will be using real IC gold to gamble so it will be up to them to moderate it/transfer/deduct the gold at the end of the thread.
