The doctors are springing a jailbreak and I'm being induced! I will likely be not able to post this weekend and I have no problem with Otto bunnying Eri, or you guys. Just nothing major. No killing her off and NO RAPE I AM LOOKING AT YOU SEI.
So in other words, I am terrible at typing with this pulse ox thing on my finger so BRB guys, expelling a parasite.

Oh god if this goes til Monday I will murder something, probably Zook. I'm personally hoping for less than 12 hours from now because these contractions are no bueno. Sei, Jess is a superhero for doing this and then not castrating you afterwards and then going back for more. Or maybe the word I'm looking for is crazy. Yes, that one.

Well, after 2 days of contractions and a failed epidural (not the most awesome way to find out your spine is rotated. HURG) the doctors broke my water today and just told me that if things aren't moving I might get the Macduff treatment tonight.

Lorelai was born 12:50 am, 5 lb., 18 in. long. Her APGAR scores were 9, 8, and 9. So she's doing great! Manda will probably post pictures later.

Sei has been keeping me updated so I had to stop in and say congrats! Tell Amanda she is tougher than me! I can't imagine being on pit for that long! Anyways Congrats you guys and enjoy Miss Lorelai!

So much confettis! I'll hopefully be back to writing tomorrow. I still have the (successful FINALLY) epidural in and the meds they have me on make me fall in and out of sleep every few minutes. D: Not that I am complaining. Narcotics are my friends.
The best picture I have of her right now that doesn't include blood or gross umbilical cord is this one, of her and Zook's mom. :D

Congrats! im glad to see you gave birth to a healthy parasite! Now that its done living in your womb it will start by attatching to your breasts and making them sore, it will also attach itself to your wallet for the next 18-25 years!

It looks like Zook and I will be absent a little longer. We weren't home long when Lori stopped doing as well and we're in the NICU. From talking to the doctors, we will likely be in the hospital for at the very least a few more days.
I'm sorry to hear that. I really hope things go well for Lorelai.

Posting from my nook. Docs say shes doing much better and so far they havent found any infection or signs of infection. Shes on antibiotics just in case but once theyre done tomorrow theyll take out the iv entirely and see how she does on her own. Shes holding a good temperature now and her feedings are getting a little bigger and more frequent and shes gaining weight.
Awesome news! Also, how are you and Amanda doing?

This is Manda - we're ok. The labs have been coming back clear so it looks like my body was being a dumb host and she was being an inefficient parasite. We've been working on finding modifications to fix things, and the docs say that as long as there are no big setbacks today we can take our potato bug home tomorrow. Huzzah!
Pretty sure I am going to be having one hell of a therapy session this week.
More good news :) Glad to hear it.
Not too sure what goes on in therapy, but enjoy/good luck/delete whichever is inappropriate.

In therapy, I pay a classy lady $10 an hour to aggressively cry at her while she nods sympathetically and points out how half of my current life has unfortunate parallels to my childhood.
Also, we're home now! So our internets usage should return to it's regularly scheduled programming shortly. :3
