It's been a long, cold, and bitter winter, all across the world. Though Althanas has seen a sluggish period of activity, in the blizzard, some writers have really pushed themselves above and beyond. After lengthy deliberation, and sadly, several hold ups, I can now announce that the following threads have been awarded a much coveted Judge's Choice award:

Adventurer's Crown Solo (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?24817-AC-Round-3-Sagequeen)- by Sagequeen

In The Shadow of Oblivion (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?23895-In-the-Shadow-of-Oblivion-(Closed)/page4) - by Sagequeen and Enigmatic Immortal

Child of Darkness (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?25044-Child-of-Darkness/page4) - by Luned, Aurelianus Drak'shal, and Warpath

These embody the very best of what Althanas has to offer a reader and writer alike. Thick with character, brimming with excitement, and full of technique, you can view these eternal in the Judge's Choice sub-forum, and all others from the previous months, here (http://www.althanas.com/world/forumdisplay.php?75-Judge-s-Choice).

To qualify for a Judge's Choice nomination, a thread, be it a solo, group, or battle based thread, must receive a full rubric judgement of 80+. It is possible for 75+ to be nominated, if the exemplary nature of the thread shows equal flair, but was a large quest, or in a very severe time constraint (judge's discretion).

The thread is then put forth for an award, deliberated upon, discussed in-depth, and then awarded if deemed appropriate.
