The "IT WAS SUICIDE" IS NOT THE ANSWER!!! I ONLY USED IT SO I COULD SEE THE POLL!!!! :p
....

Got this from a website, thought it would be fun to figure out who did it! The first post will be the intro, second post - round 1 .... third post - round 2 ... fourth post ... final round ... fifth post - Clues if you need them (BONUS POINTS FOR GUESSING RIGHT WITHOUT CLUES!!) ... sixth/last post (to come MUCH later) solution. Good luck! P.S.: The setting is in World War II in the early 1940's. No heating and looking up the anser BTW, that's a lame way to win.

Introduction:

Ladies and Gentlemen; on behalf of the Disorientated Express, I
would like to thank you for travelling with us from (in the tune
of the song if you know it) Istanbul to Constantinople, that’s
Istanbul to Constantinople, and if you don’t change at
Constantinople then you’ll head back to Istanbul. As you are
aware, we have made a brief stop in Byzantium however I am
sorry to report that this train will not be departing from platform
3 on time as a dead body has been discovered on board.
The deceased passenger is Werner Von Black the esteemed
German rocket inventor. A doctor is with him now, but I am
sorry to report that he appears to have been murdered. As a
result I have called you all together to help solve this terrible
crime.
For now I think it best if you all begin by introducing yourselves
and I will go and see what I can find out from the doctor as to his
cause of death. Meanwhile, if you need anything, ask one of the
stewards to call for me. My name is Eduard Lou, but just ask
them to shout for Guard E. Lou. My name tends to get people
running.

...

The characters:

Sigmund Froid

An Austrian and a doctor of Psychiatry. Has an
educated and heavily accented voice which is calming but
monotonous. (Has a tendency to put people to sleep.)
He is very good at analysing people, even if they don’t want
him to.
He is fixated on the Id and Ego, parent/child relationships,
dreams and can always relate anyone’s difficulties back to sex in
one way or another.

....

Heidi Evidence

Background Character Information:

Comes across as all sweetness and innocence, but in reality
she is quite a different sort of person underneath: callous, cold
and calculating, and of course domineering when it comes to
relationships with men. She likes them in their place: in other
words they should stay where you left them. Werner Von Black
never did, which is why you dumped him. His death has come as
a bit of a shock to you.
She is a perfectionist. Makes sure table settings and people’s
clothing are set straight, and of course she positively hates to see
crooked pictures.
She tends not to take sides in any argument, preferring to remain
neutral. However this doesn’t mean she is everybody’s friend
– far from it, it just means she picks on everybody equally. She feels she is never ever wrong.

....

Ivan Ego

Background Character Information:

Imbibes Vodka rather heavily and this, along with his
heavy Russian accent makes you quite difficult to understand at
times. Lays it on thick.
He is very proud of his motherland and often harks back to
the good old days farming his grandfather’s potato patches.
Since Stalin came to power things have altered a little to say the
least. He is one of his up and coming scientists and has
great plans to build Russia’s first space rocket. He is always
designing things and get all sorts of ideas for construction
projects and engineering from things you see round about you.
He might want to borrow pens (which you are always losing)
from different guests to draw sketches for ideas for just about
anything on the back of napkins etc.

.....

Dee Sypher

Background Character Information:

Comes from the UK and is very, very intelligent. So
intelligent in fact that most of what you say sounds like complete
gibberish to the others.
Sees conspiracies in everything and codes everywhere.
Everything she sees must mean something, the flowers on the
table, the way the cutlery is arranged, it is all clues to something,
perhaps even solving the murder inquiry.
Methodical and verging on compulsive in her
behaviour. Counts nearly everything she sees, including peas on
her plate. It all must have a meaning somewhere.

.....

Herr Cutt

Background Character Information:

Jovial and chatty, a real chatterbox and excels in
small talk. Talks about everything, tomatoes, decoration, and
structural engineering, he is what people call a jack of all
conversations and can put your tuppence worth into any
topic anyone may care to discuss.
Particularly likes suggesting restyles.
Has a nasty habit of snipping off stray bits of hair.
A patriot and won’t hear anything nasty said about
Germany, or the new führer.

....

Kiki De’Leggs

Background Character Information:

Is vivacious, flamboyant and a real flirt when it comes to
men. Enjoys company, and aren’t fussy who she engages in
conversation – she likes all types.
Can be a little dizzy at times. Not intellectual and is
only after a good time. Doesn't really have a forte other than
dancing, but as her legs have got her this far, why bother with
anything else?
Quite proud of your cancan abilities and might want to
show off her dancing, and her legs; her legs usually attract
people’s attention.

Round 1

Kiki De’Leggs: Well, I must say this is all rather exciting.
The brochure said a ride on the
Disorientated Express was the experience
of a lifetime and they weren’t wrong!

Herr Cutt: I’m not sure they were thinking of a
murder when they said that.

Heidi Evidence: I agree, after all the saying goes, “You
never know who you’ll meet on board the
Disorientated Express.” Not, “You never
know who is going to be murdered next on
board the Disorientated Express.”

Dee Sypher: Quite. Still, it adds a bit of variety to what
would otherwise be a very boring journey.

Ivan Ego: Well, I don’t know about any of you, but I
haven’t the faintest clue where to start on a
murder inquiry.

Kiki De’Leggs: Nor me.

Dee Sypher: Well, we’ve already introduced ourselves,
so I suppose the next step is to start asking
each other questions about what we’ve
seen.

Herr Cutt: Or what we’ve heard.

Sigmund Froid: Perhaps even our dreams might shed a
little light on matters.

Heidi evidence: I always dream of an alpine cottage
surrounded by goats. Could that have any
bearing on the case?

Dee Sypher: Not unless Werner Von Black was a closet
yodeller. Look, if it’s all right with
everyone, I’d rather we just stuck to facts.
Forget dreaming, or daydreaming for that
matter and just get on with finding out
who killed him.

Round 2

Guard E. Lou: I see you’ve all managed to introduce yourselves then, and it
looks like you’ve made a good start too on finding out a little
about each other. Solving a murder isn’t usually in my line of
work. Normally I just collect tickets and shout “All change”, but
I dare say this makes a change.
Anyway, the doctor has asked me to give you his preliminary
findings. It appears Werner Von Black died of suffocation. We
found him hanging from a hook in the ceiling, at first we thought
it was simple suicide, but as his neck wasn’t borken and his feet
could actually touch the ground, the doctor has ruled out that
particular possibility.
The rope around his neck was made up of a pair of stockings and
a tie. An odd combination of clothing, but one which might have
significance as the investigation continues. The doctor assures
me the murderer could easily have been a lady, but what lady
would murder a man – that doesn’t sound to me like the sort of
thing a lady would do!
The steward told me that Werner Von Black had a series of
secret rocket designs laid out on his bed earlier today. While the
doctor has been examining him I’ve had a good look around his
compartment, but I can’t find the designs, which leads me to
wonder if they have been stolen. Whether they were taken
before or after he was murdered I cannot say, but it gives us
another line of inquiry.
Anyway, I’ll leave you to get on with solving the case, but may I
remind you that the toilets are not to be operated while at the
station.

....

Heidi Evidence: Not the sort of thing a lady would do?
Obviously the guard doesn’t get around a
lot.

Sigmund Froid: I agree. In my closed sessions with the
teenage elite I’ve heard a lot of things that
I never would have thought possible,
especially from girls. They have such
vivid imaginations and it’s not just men
that have an Id and Ego battling away
within.

Ivan Ego: Look, I’ve told you before this has nothing
to do with me. I very rarely see girls. My
time is too taken up with inventing to
begin a relationship.

Herr Cutt: Well, if it was a relationship that led to
this mess, then I would have to say that is
a good thing, but I suppose the fact they
used a pair of stockings to string him up
might be purely a coincidence.

Kiki De’Leggs: Perhaps, but then again, perhaps the
murderer was simply laying his hands on
something readily to hand.

Ivan Ego: Surely you aren’t inferring Werner Von
Black was a bit of a cross dresser?

Kiki De’Leggs: Not at all, but he might have bought a pair
for a friend or sister which could have
been in view when the murderer came in.

Dee Sypher: Or perhaps they were used as a message?

Sigmund Froid: And what message would that be? Give
me what I want or I’ll kill you?

Herr Cutt: She could have a point. Perhaps it was a
jealous lover? Or at least a woman who
murdered him.

Heidi Evidence: Yes, I can see why you men would be
keen on that idea, it rather absolves you of
guilt, or suspicion, if we all assume it was
a woman because of the underwear around
his neck.

Ivan Ego: I’ve seen a few ballets in my homeland
and since I’ve been in Europe. The men
there wear tights.

Kiki De’Leggs: That’s true Ivan, but the Guard said it was
stockings remember? I can’t really see a
male ballet dancer in those.

Herr Cutt: Besides which, Werner Von Black was a
rocket designer not a ballet dancer.
Perhaps we ought to concentrate on more
concrete leads for now.

Guard E. Lou:Well, I don’t know about the train, but you lot certainly seem to
be full of hot air! But have you got anywhere yet, that’s the
question? Perhaps, but then again perhaps not. Maybe you are
even beginning to wonder, as I have done, whether all of you are
responsible?
Well I can tell you this much. One of you killed him, and I think
I know who, but the question is: can you find out who did it?

Round 3

Sigmund Froid: Well, if you ask me this case all boils
down to sex, the fairer kind. He obviously
had a few close lady friends, possibly one
too many, and one of them decided to put
a stop to him.

Heidi Evidence: You would have to say that. You are a
man, hunter gatherer mentality, kill or be
killed. Us women are actually very
different inside, which you would find out
if you chose to get to know us rather than
psychoanalysing our every move.

Ivan Ego: Personally, I quite like examining your
every move, but then so did Werner, and
look where it got him!

Dee Sypher: You can’t just go about accusing Heidi
like that, she might not have had anything
to do with it. Just because Werner was a
bit of a philanderer when it came to
women, that doesn’t mean it was a woman
that killed him. Sex might have nothing to
do with this crime, or have you forgotten
the missing rocket plans?

Herr Cutt: I know I certainly haven’t, but then it
could easily be a woman that took them.

Sigmund Froid: If you ask me women have never been the
same since we gave them the vote, and
that was a bad move.

Ivan Ego: Here here! And even a good one’s more
trouble than she’s worth.

Heidi Evidence: I could, of course, say the same thing
about men. It’s men in politics that have
already led us into one world war, and it
looks very likely another one is on the
way. Hand government over to a woman
that’s what I say.

Sigmund Froid: Then we’ll all go to war over the supply of
chocolate and everyone will be fighting
over Switzerland.

Kiki De’Leggs: At least we won’t be pushing at borders.
Women are always trying to lose weight or
stay the same. We’ll be happy with what
we’ve got.

Heidi Evidence: But why are we discussing politics when
there is an unsolved murder? Let’s not
forget some of us need to get to
Constantinople on business and time is of
the essence.

Guard E. Lou:Well now. All becomes clear. We have fire in the boiler, the
water tank is full and the train is gathering a full head of steam.
All we need to do now is identify the murderer, off load him or
her to the Byzantium authorities and we can be on our way!
They way I see it; it could be any one of you. You all certainly
had motive, but only one of you I think is the killer.
The question is: is it Sigmund Froid through his powers of
suggestion, or is it Heidi Evidence who could well be trying to
silence an old boyfriend once and for all?
Perhaps Dee Sypher is responsible, with all her coded messages
and secrets, she could easily hide a murder, or maybe it was Ivan
Ego, outraged that his designs had been copied without any by
your leave.
Or could it be Herr Cutt, the body guard come assassin keen that
the information shouldn’t fall into the wrong hands, or Kiki
De’Leggs who says she found him dead, but we only have her
word for that.
Whoever you think it is, there is just time for all of you to make
your final statements before I ask that you come to a decision
yourselves as to who killed Werner Von Black. After that I will
present my own findings.

TheOnlyGhost

Concluding statements and clues.

Ivan Ego:

Well, I for one am glad the man is dead. I won’t deny it. He
stole my rocket designs – how could he! What I want to know
now is where they’ve gone. I certainly don’t have them, and I
hope whoever has them now will at least give me some credit for
the work I have put in. It’s only fair.

Dee Sypher:

I too would like to know where the plans are. I thought I was the
best in the decoding business, clearly I was wrong. Someone
among us clearly has hidden talents in the maths department as
well as the assassination department, and I have to say I would
quite like to meet them.

Herr Cutt:

Wouldn’t we all? I admit I would rather see Werner Von Black
dead than the plans fall into enemy hands, but it looks as though
Germany has now lost both it’s eminent rocket designer and his
plans, and there will be hell to pay when I call Berlin to tell them
about this. I was supposed to be his bodyguard. I wouldn’t think
Berlin’ll be too happy with you either Sigmund.

Sigmund Froid:

I suppose not, a typical case of transference however. They are
angry at themselves for not foreseeing this eventuality, and so it
is only natural that they would want to place the blame on
somebody else. The fact that I am innocent in this particular
mystery will not matter. As I said, my hypnotic conditioning
was supposed to make him kill himself rather than hand over the
plans. Clearly whoever has the plans now could not persuade
him to part with them using normal means.

Heidi Evidence:

By normal I assume you mean something other than torture and
murder? That would be an obvious method for obtaining what
you want if you ask me. Not that I did it you understand. I
argued with him, nothing more.

Kiki De’Leggs:

And as I’ve said, he was already dead when I found him. I too
would like to get my hands on those plans. And to think I let that
man get his hands all over me performance after performance
and all for what – nothing!

*************************CLUES:******************* ***

Use as less clues as possible, bonus points for solving it WITHOUT any clues! I'll just copy and paste them so it is easiest to use for clues. Clues are in random order from "least important" to "most important" depending on which characters perspective.

Clue 1:

Sigmund Froid
First Round Clue
Questions you should ask:
Did Herr Cutt know Werner Von Black?
Why is Kiki De’Leggs travelling to Constantinople? The
Turkish have their own dancing traditions and the cancan is
definitely not part of them.
Information you should reveal about yourself only when
asked.
You boarded the Disorientated Express in Istanbul in order to see
a patient in Constantinople. Obviously you cannot divulge that
patient’s name as it breaches patient confidentiality, for the sake
of argument you could call him John Smith. He is suffering from
delusions of adequacy and needs to be put right. Providing the
train is not too late you will still be making that appointment.
John Smith, like many of your patients is wealthy. Your services
do not come cheap, but that isn’t to say you aren’t busy. It seems
the wealthier someone is the more trouble they have with their
Id, Ego, dreams and sex life. Sometimes all they crave is a lie on
the couch and someone to talk to. You are good at listening.

Sigmund Froid
Second Round Clue
Questions you should ask:
Inventing must be a difficult thing to do. Inventors, by
definition, are always designing and producing something new
and so have nothing to copy or emulate. Does Ivan Ego ever get
ideas from other people’s projects?
Did Dee Sypher actually meet up with Werner Von Black?
Information you should reveal about yourself only when
asked.
You are qualified in many forms of psychiatric care. You can
prescribe medication, conduct psychotherapy, counsel and
hypnotise people.
You were using hypnosis on Werner Von Black. The poor man
suffered terribly with feelings of guilt over his rocket designs,
and concerns that he might inadvertently betray his country
(Germany). He needed someone to talk to, to confide in, and
some way to gain confidence. You used hypnosis to give him
that confidence.
Do not read further until instructed by your host.

Sigmund Froid
Third Round Clue
Questions you should ask:
Was Dee Sypher interested in Werner Von Black as a person, or
was it the rockets he was designing that she was interested in.
And if so, did she steal the plans?
You think you saw Herr Cutt visiting Werner Von Black’s
compartment earlier today. What was he doing in there?
Information you should reveal about yourself only when
asked.
The National Socialists in Germany employed you to see Werner
Von Black as he could not pay your rates himself. Herr Cutt was
your go between. He asked you to a) give him the emotional
strength to complete his rocket designs, and b) ensure that he
could never betray Germany either purposefully or by accident.
You used hypnosis to achieve both of those aims. Under
hypnosis you suggested that whenever he looked at his plans he
should feel a warm glow in his stomach which would radiate
outwards in a reassuring warmth, and told him that it was all his
own work and that his Ego should feel proud. As to the other
matter; you told him to commit suicide before handing over the
plans to another country. The power of suggestion is a terrible
thing, but you are sure he would not have handed the plans over
willingly. As they are missing then you are sure someone has
taken them. Werner would have died before voluntarily handing
them over.

...

Clue 2:

Heidi Evidence
First Round Clue
Questions you should ask:
Why is Sigmund Froid travelling on the train? Does it have
anything to do with a patient?
Does Kiki De’Leggs enjoy dancing the Cancan? Surely it can’t
be good for her knee joints long term.
Information you should reveal about yourself only when
asked.
You boarded the train in Istanbul with two urgent deposits for the
German National Socialist Party. Despite what people might
think, not all banking is done in gold, and so you didn’t bring any
strong boxes with you. Instead you simply have two banker’s
drafts tucked into your bra. You’ve found that is the safest place
these days. Pickpockets are everywhere, but even they’ve never
ventured in there yet.
That isn’t to say that other people don’t. Take Werner for
example, when you used to date him he was always venturing
forth, but a sharp rap on the knuckles usually stopped him. In
truth his death has come as a bit of a shock, although you weren’t
seeing each other romantically any more, that didn’t mean he
didn’t hold a special place in your heart.

Heidi Evidence
Second Round Clue
Questions you should ask:
Dee Sypher’s note was a little cryptic. Did she really expect
Werner Von Black to understand it?
You saw a swastika on Herr Cutt’s suitcase. Is he a member of
the German National Socialist party?
Information you should reveal about yourself only when
asked.
You are Swiss through and through, neutral in any political
argument or war for that matter, but good at time keeping and
banking. Some might accuse you of being a German
sympathiser as you are making deposits for the National Socialist
Party and dated Werner Von Black, but in truth you bank for
anyone with money to invest and you dated Werner because he
was an interesting man, not because he was German. (Though
there is something about the German accent that excites you.)
Besides you broke the relationship off with Werner (not the other
way around in case anyone was wondering). He was a bit of a
philander when it came to women, and when you found out what
he was up to when you weren’t about you told him in no
uncertain terms to get lost. That didn’t stop him putting on the
old charm when he saw you again, he has a thing for pigtails, but
you like men to stay where you put them, and he never did, he
was always off after the next skirt that passed by. The
relationship would never have worked long term.
Do not read further until instructed by your host.

Heidi Evidence
Third Round
Questions you should ask:
Did Herr Cutt take anything from Werner Von Black’s room?
Did Kiki De’Leggs give Werner Von Black his “private
performance” or was he not really interested in the Cancan
dancing?
Information you should reveal about yourself only when
asked.
When you saw Werner was on the train, you decided to return
something of his that he left with you some time ago. A belt as it
happens. He loaned it to you some time ago to help keep your
suitcase closed (you have a really old one). You planned to buy
a new one in Constantinople, so thought it would be fair to give
it back rather than throwing it away.
You knocked on his door and, when he saw it was you, he
invited you in for a chat. You chatted with him a while and he
got a little amorous. Said he wanted you back, had never got
over you, that type of thing. You weren’t going to listen to that
kind of talk and so got up to leave. As you turned to the door he
slapped you across the bottom playfully with the belt you had
just returned. (Like you said he was getting a little amorous.)
You turned back to him and gave him a piece of your mind, but
you certainly didn’t kill him.

...

Clue 3:

Ivan Ego
First Round Clue
Questions you should ask:
Sigmund Froid charges a lot for his consultations. Are there
many wealthy people out there who need his services?
Heidi Evidence said she was travelling on business. You didn’t
see her board the train with a strong box. Where is she keeping
her urgent deposits?
Information you should reveal about yourself only when
asked.
You design several different things; you have a few hobbies you
tinker about with, like a bag-less vacuum cleaner (they say it will
never work! Pah! What do they know?) And a fabric fixing
device that has little hooks and eyes on two different strips, you
think you might call “Velcrego”. However the mainstay of your
work centres on rocket design and propulsion. You have several
designs on the drawing board, but Russia lacks funds to see the
projects through.
Keen to see your rocket designs through to completion, you
decided to travel to Constantinople to see if you could sell a few
of your other inventions (such as the Velcrego which you think
might help them keep their Fez’s in place) so that you can self
fund the explosive parts.

Ivan Ego
Second Round Clue
Questions you should ask:
Werner Von Black had a terrible hair cut. Herr Cutt may cut his
hair, but he is obviously no barber. What does he really do?
Did Kiki De’Leggs know Werner Von Black and if so when did
they meet?
Information you should reveal about yourself only when
asked.
You knew of Werner Von Black from an “Up and Coming
Inventors” conference you both attended. You soon found out he
also had a passion for designing rockets so you discussed some
of the design problems with him. You haven’t seen him since
then, but he has published a few articles in “Mad Inventors’
Monthly” which you read with interest.
In fact Werner Von Black’s articles gave you some ideas for
combating some of the problems you have been experiencing
with the explosive nature of rocket fuel (in that it ignites in
entirety rather than just in the combustion chamber causing a
fantastic and expensive fireball!). You quite often find answers
to your problems in other people’s work – why reinvent the
wheel? You suspect most inventors do the same.
Do not read further until instructed by your host.

Ivan Ego
Third Round Clue
Questions you should ask:
Sigmund Froid said Werner Von Black was feeling guilty over
his rocket designs and thoughts that he might betray Germany.
What suggestions did Sigmund make under hypnosis to give him
confidence?
You are sure you saw Kiki De’Leggs coming out of the French
embassy in Istanbul before she boarded the train. Is she really
just a cancan dancer as she says, or is there more to her?
Information you should reveal about yourself only when
asked.
You went to see Werner Von Black earlier today when you
found out he was travelling on the same train. You thought it
would be a fabulous opportunity to discuss how you were both
progressing with the rocket designing and swap ideas.
You visited his compartment to arrange an appointment, but he
wasn’t in. The door was unbolted so you went inside to leave a
message and that was when you discovered a folder labelled
“Rocket plans” on the desk. You couldn’t resist taking a quick
peek and were horrified to see the first three pages were direct
copies of your own work, coffee cup stain included. There must
have been a spy in your office! You were so incensed you went
to the Buffet car and had it out with him there and then in front
of a dozen witnesses. You were shouting your mouth off.
Everyone must have heard you – but you didn’t kill him.
Do not read further until instructed by your host.
.........

Clue 4:

Dee Sypher
First Round Clue
Questions you should ask:
You saw Heidi Evidence chatting with Werner Von Black earlier
today. They seemed to know each other very well. How did
they know each other?
What is it Ivan Ego is inventing that makes him so important?
Information you should reveal about yourself only when
asked.
You have never actually met Werner Von Black in person. You
have always taken an interest in his work. He publishes articles
quite often and you are an avid reader, lots of numbers and
equations on rocket propulsion etc. It’s just up your street.
You found out he was travelling on the Disorientated Express
and so booked a ticket so that you could arrange a meeting to get
to know him. When you didn’t bump into him in the corridors
you decided to push a note under his door to arrange a meeting.
The note said something like: I want to meet you. Let’s have pi
together in the buffet car at 3.14 D.”
Do not read further until instructed by your host.

Dee Sypher
Second Round Clue
Questions you should ask:
Other than listening, what different kinds of treatments does
Sigmund Froid offer?
Was Werner Von Black interested in Kiki De’Leggs on a
romantic basis? Ask Kiki.
Information you should reveal about yourself only when
asked.
You went to the Guard’s van at 6.28pm but Werner Von Black
never showed up. You thought it was a little odd as you were
sure he had been trying to contact you himself, using coded
messages in his articles and you had responded in kind. Your
meeting note was cryptic, but should have been self explanatory,
it would have been obvious to him you meant the guard’s van not
the buffet car at 6.28 pm.
Do not read further until instructed by your host.

Dee Sypher
Third Round Clue
Questions you should ask:
Werner Von Black wasn’t rich. How did he afford Sigmund
Froid’s treatment sessions?
You saw Heidi enter Werner Von Black’s sleeping compartment
earlier today carrying a belt. What was she doing?
Information you should reveal about yourself only when
asked.
You are were very very surprised Werner Von Black didn’t come
to meet you, as his articles had been very specific about what he
wanted to do: namely pass over some secret plans for rocket
propulsion. Thinking the worst, you called in on him on the way
back from the Guard’s van, picked the lock to the compartment
and discovered him dead. You had a quick rummage through his
things, but you couldn’t find the plans. Obviously someone
solved his quadratic riddles before you and got there first.
Do not read further until instructed by your host.

...

Clue 5:

Herr Cutt
First Round
Questions you should ask:
Why is Ivan Ego travelling to Constantinople?
Does Dee Sypher know Werner Von Black? Or is it just a
coincidence she is on the same train?
Information you should reveal about yourself only when
asked.
You are on holiday, which is why you are on the train. You
always fancied a trip on the Disorientated Express and so,
realising war was coming (it’s obvious really isn’t it?), you
decided to get a ticket this year and do the travelling while you
still could.
You were quite surprised to find Werner Von Black on your
train. You know him quite well as you cut his hair for him. He’s
a chatty fellow, into rockets. He talks about them to everyone.
Do not read further until instructed by your host.

Herr Cutt
Second Round Clue
Questions you should ask:
Was Sigmund Froid treating Werner Von Black? – Surely he can
divulge that, as Werner is dead and any patient confidentiality is
null and void.
Heidi Evidence said she used to date Werner Von Black. Why
did they split up?
Information you should reveal about yourself only when
asked.
You are a full member of the National Socialist Party and
actually a member of the German Gestapo. You have been
working undercover as Werner Von Black’s barber to try and
keep a close watch on him. Hitler is very keen on his work and
you have been ordered to work as a sort of bodyguard, come spy.
Hitler doesn’t want either Werner or his work to fall into enemy
hands. When you discovered he was taking a trip to
Constantinople you booked a ticket yourself and joined him on
the train to keep an eye on him. Werner Von Black didn’t know.
He just thought you were simply his barber.
Do not read further until instructed by your host.

Herr Cutt
Third Round Clue
Questions you should ask:
You are sure you heard Heidi Evidence talking to Werner Von
Black in his sleeping compartment earlier today. You heard a
slap and some angry words. What were they up to?
You saw Ivan Ego shouting at Werner Von Black in the buffet
car this afternoon. What were they arguing about?
Information you should reveal about yourself only when
asked.
When Werner Von Black saw you on the train he asked you to
give him a quick trim. You agreed as it meant you could gain
access to his compartment. You called in, and gave his hair a
cut. His plans were spread out on the bed at the time as he was
looking through them. While you were there, a note was pushed
under the door from Dee Sypher. It sounded a bit suspicious so
you pocketed it preventing Werner from seeing it, which is why
he never went to the meeting. You left him looking through his
rocket plans. He told you he had a psychiatrist visiting later on,
which you knew to be Sigmund.

Clue 6:

Kiki De’Leggs
First Round Clue
Questions you should ask:
You saw Dee Sypher push a note under Werner Von Black’s
compartment door earlier today. What was in the note? Word
for word.
Why is Herr Cutt travelling to Constantinople? Surely the
Turkish people have their own barbers?
Information you should reveal about yourself only when
asked.
You have always loved dancing the Cancan and waving your
multi-layered underskirts around. You take pleasure in the way
men look at you when you move. The Cancan is a very physical
dance requiring lots of stamina and flexibility in the leg joints.
You have always prided yourself in having a great deal of both.
Unfortunately, you have just begun to get the first twinges of
arthritis in your knees (the doctors think you have brought on the
illness prematurely because of all that high leg waving) and so
have decided to explore new dance techniques to see if you could
vary your dance routines to something a little less knee intensive.
You know Turkish dancers are also very exuberant and
wondered if you could pick up any new moves from them. You
always fancied learning a little belly dancing.

Second Round Clue
Questions you should ask:
Heidi Evidence seems to have a lot to do with Germany. Dating
Werner Von Black for example, and making special deposits for
the National Socialist Party. Is she a German sympathiser?
If Ivan Ego is a rocket designer, did he ever meet up with Werner
Von Black who was also a rocket designer to discuss ideas?
Information you should reveal about yourself only when
asked.
You found work in a French style restaurant in Berlin. (German
men like leg waving leggy girls just as much as the French, and
they pay better in tips.) Soon after starting there you spotted
Werner Von Black. He was a regular at the restaurant and
always sat near the stage. He enjoyed watching the dancing and
you were attracted to him. You used to sit at his table afterwards
and exchange small talk. He wasn’t a great conversationalist,
usually talking about rocket motors and physics which you knew
nothing about, but he was fun to be around. When he spotted
you on the train he asked if you would come to see him in his
compartment for a “private performance”. You decided – what
the heck! Why not! And so you went to see him this afternoon.

Kiki De’Leggs
Third Round Clue
Questions you should ask:
You saw Ivan Ego going into Werner Von Black’s compartment
earlier today, but then you passed Werner in the corridor, so you
know he wasn’t in his compartment when Ivan visited. What
was he doing?
You think you saw Dee Sypher some time after 6.28 leaving
Werner Von Black’s compartment. Had she decided to pay him
a visit?
Information you should reveal about yourself only when
asked.
The French Secret Service recruited you some time ago when
they heard you were working in Berlin. You have been
providing them with information on German movements and
more recently on Werner Von Black’s rocket plans.
When they found out Werner Von Black was travelling on the
Disorientated Express they asked you to book a ticket and see if
you could begin a romantic relationship with him in order to get
closer to the rocket plans. You did as they asked and Werner
made things easy for you by asking you to his compartment
straight out. (He must have been desperate to get his hands on
you!)
You went to see Werner Von Black as arranged. You knocked
and entered the compartment as he told you, but when you
stepped into the room you saw he was dead. You left quickly.
You didn’t want to implicate yourself.

Solution:

(To come MUCH later)

Post who you think it is and WHY! Also state how many clues (if any) you used to figure it out. I will contact the staff to see if I can persuade them to give a prize to the one who guesses it right with the LEAST amount of clues used (and who didn't cheat, I'll be able to tell btw). Good luck!

P.S. The "It was suicide" is NOT the answer, I simply used it so I could see the poll. Whoever used that is silly :p

OBJECTION! Hearsay. Speculation. Irrelevant circumstantial evidence.

As for the solution: Seal off the victim's compartment to preserve the scene of the crime. Detain everyone on suspicion and question them further at the police station. The scene needs to have a forensics examination. The victim needs a coroner's examination. It is NOT Guard E. Lou's place to make any further moves than the above and he can be charged with obstruction of justice if he does any more, because this is now an international affair and his jurisdiction does not apply there.

Wow, that couldn't be any more wrong. If you voted "it was suicide" that isn't the answer, it was so I could see the poll.

More serious inquires from now on please.

I picked that because you don't have a "It is improper to make an accusation at this time." option.

Well ... so much for this game >.< if no one will take it seriously, I might as well give the answer soon if noone will b guessing. Way to ruin it guys >.<

I took it quite seriously, I thought.

Well ... 7 people ruining the game that was supposed to be fun and give out a prize is well enough to give away the answer. Thanks for ruining it everyone, hope it was worth it:

Here is the solution >.<:

Guard E. Lou:

The fireman and the driver tell me all they have to do is pull the
whistle and they can be off, so I better get on with solving this
case so we can dump the murderous passenger here and try and
make up time for Constantinople.
First of all let’s begin by eliminating the obvious.
Ivan Ego was understandably furious that his rocket designs had
been pinched, and was witnessed having an argument with
Werner Von Black but I do not think this argument escalated to
murder. How could Werner Von Black give him credit for his
work if he was dead?
After that things get a little more complicated:
Dee Sypher was after the rocket plans and perhaps the man
himself. She was a spy that risked discovery, but I don’t think
she was actually ordered to kill him and so I discount her.
Then there is Herr Cutt and Sigmund Froid. Both of them were
employed to make sure the rocket designs never fell into the
wrong hands. Werner Von Black was worth more to both of
them alive however. So I think we can discount them both,
which leaves us with all of Werner’s lady friends. My goodness
the man got around Heidi Evidence was seen in his compartment, and overheard
giving him a piece of her mind, but she had no need of the plans
so I think it is safe to say she didn’t kill him.
Which just leaves us with Kiki De’Leggs. We only have her
word for it that Werner Von Black was dead when she went to
the compartment. She flashed enough skin to attract the man's
attention and then lured him into a relationship in order to gain
access to the rocket plans. Who knows what happened?
Perhaps, being the womaniser he is he came on a bit heavy, but
whatever the cause Kiki took what was to hand, the stockings
and the tie, and strangled him. In order to disguise the murder
she then knotted a hangman’s noose and pulled him up to the
ceiling. Then she simply hid the plans inside her multi-layered
skirts and legged it.
And so, Kiki De’Leggs I am arresting you for the murder of
Werner Von Black.
Case closed.

...

Kiki De Leggs did it.

That would never hold up any proper court of law.

Warpath

I think he committed suicide over proposed gun reform, which would have impacted profits from rocket sales.

Thanks Obama.
