Okay, here's my question guys. Recently, I was informed that there was going to be some sort of a "community wide" GM system employed on Althanas where basically anybody could run region wide quests and get the credit for it, if it was labelled as a GM'ed quest. What I want to know is, is the GM system still being employed? Or is some other system currently in play?

I don't know that much other than what I was told about it, and I just want to clarify the situation. Also, if the gm system is in fact still in play, how would I apply to become one?

Any and all info on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

It was Canon Masters. They are staffers who have no other responsibility but to write. Everything they write becomes official Althanas canon. As a player, you can sign up for canon quests and your actions in the thread become part of Althanas' story. There never was an individual plan, but it's an interesting idea.

So if I was interested in becoming a Canon Master, I would simply apply for the staff position as normal? Or is there some other application process for CM? And thanks for the information Tony, I really appreciate this.

You apply for the CM position as you would any other Moderator position.
