Name: Arganok Flamebearer
Age: 20
Race: Fire Demon/Dark Elf Hybrid
Hair Color: Red
Eye Color: Violet
Height: 6 Feet
Weight: 180 pounds

Personality: Arganok is a head strong, self sure person. He is very serious most of the time, but he is also quite sarcastic, especially during conflicts. He believes he is worth more than what he has been dealt in life and resents the charity that the monks have given him. He is determined to better himself and will do anything in pursuit of this goal. His trust is hard given but once earned it knows no bounds and is forever. Arganok is loyal to a fault and will do anything to help those he considers a friend. He is also incredibly naive and awkward in social settings. He refuses religion of any sort feeling it clouds the mind from reality and what matters. Since he grew up in a monastery, Arganok has had little contact with females. He is uncharacteristically shy around them. His anger often gets the better of him in situations which can land him in some tight spots. But all in all just wants to make the world a better place, after he helps himself first of course.

Appearance: Arganok has near black skin and deep violet eyes. His fiery red hair is a stark contrast to the cooler tones of his skin and eyes. He is well muscled but lean. It's obvious he takes good care of his body. He often carries his staff as a walking stick so it is always ready. He wears loose clothing of neutral colors.

Skills:
Stave Fighting: Arganok has learned intermediate stave fighting techniques.

Hand to Hand: Arganok's training with the monks has instilled knowledge of fighting without weapons.

Combat Defense:Through his training Arganok has learned how to redirect attacks or avoid them altogether.

Abilities:
Fire Resistance: Fire attacks and spells have slightly less effect. (Passive)

Demon Scales: His fire demon heritage allows him to grow scales for protection equal to that of steel ringmail without hindering movement. However they only last an hour and he has to wait three hours before growing again.

Acrobatics: With his natural elvish grace, twice of a normal human's agility, and rigourous training, Arganok can perform acrobatic feats that he can implement in combat.

Weaknesses: Water and Holy magic have a greater effect on Arganok. As do silver weapons.

Equipment:All Ethan owns are the clothes on his back and a hand crafted oaken staff that one of the monks made him for a birthday gift.

History: On another plane of existence there is a cruel and evil race referred to simply as “Demons”. This race’s greatest desire is to come to plane of mortals and cause as much destruction as possible. And sometimes they succeed. One managed to get loose and tried to raze a town. But there he met a beautiful Dark Elf warrior maiden who calmed his ferocious heart and he fell in love. He found a way to appear human and courted her. Together they had a child, but had no way to support him. So they gave him to the nearest monastery as soon as they could hoping he would have a better life that way.

Arganok grew up learning the way of the warrior monk, learning how to fight in order to protect the innocent. Every day he worked to master techniques from century old scrolls found in the archives. As he grew he became increasingly isolated due to his appearance. The other students knew there was something different about him and avoided his presence, as a result he rarely spoke and mistrusted anyone who came around. He learned to take care of himself and hated when he had to ask others for help.

Growing up in a monastery, Arganok had little chance to meet members of the opposite sex and found that he is increasingly awkward around them. Trips to the local market were near impossible if he had to buy anything from a woman running the shop. Even so, he is more comfortable around them as he finds them far better company than the men he grew up with. When he was 19 he met a girl who he fell for and tried everything he could to win her heart, but she was high born and thought herself too good for an apprentice, and a monk no less. She led him on for months, giving him hope that there might be something more between them, but then rejected him as soon as something better came along, forcing him further into his isolation.

Not long after this incident, Arganok got into a fight with some of the other students, severly injuring some of them. As a result he was to be banished from the monastery as soon as his training was over. Now that the time has come, Arganok is leaving the only home he has ever known in order to protect the good, fight the bad, and of course, find fame and fortune.

The Fire Resistance should be rather minor at this point. And Demon Scales should be as hard as steel ringmail or similar type of armor. Please make a note saying so.

Also, given the description of Acrobatics, I assume his agility is above average. Could you define it as twice that normal human agility and move it under abilities?

That is all.
