Hi all! I'm Caera and I'm new here, though I've been lurking on and off for awhile. I love this site's emphasis on quality writing and storycrafting, so I finally decided to jump in and create a character. Caera is a dreamchild - she was created in the dreamworld and lived there until . . . well, right about now. So, she's now awake and ready for adventure.

My other hobbies include tabletop and board games, the occasional video game, and reading like woah. I'm a huge fan of sci fi and mysteries, and I'm always up for book talk. :) I have a day job in research and a night job herding cats out of my kitchen as I try to cook dinner.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to RPing with you guys!

As for the research, it's mostly psych. I work at a lab that studies mood disorders primarily - depression, OCD, bipolar. Like all science, it alternates between mind-numbing (data entry) and totally awesome (getting a paper accepted for publication), and I really enjoy it. It's my stopover between undergrad and grad school, and it's letting me figure out what I want to do with my life. :)
