2976

Age: Unknown
Race: Akuma
Hair Color: Honey
Eye Color: Red
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 145 lbs.
Occupation: Yojimbo (bodyguard for hire) Mercenary, Assassin, Sadistic Killer

Personality: A thrill seeker and a sword jockey, Jun longs for adventure and a good fight. Always amused, especially by his own antics, it's rare for a smile to be absent from his handsome countenance. Jun, like most demons, thirsts for battle and bloodshed, hoping to one day carve a name for himself as the most skilled killer in all of Althanas. Following the simplest of mottos, "kill or be killed," Jun strives to be the former rather than the latter, though death isn't something he fears: for Jun knows all too well what awaits in the world beyond.

Appearance: Handsome and boyish with honey-colored mid-length hair and remarkable red eyes, Jun is a truly unique persona, a foreigner in a strange land. The man is layered with lean, wiry muscle that shows off both his speed and strength that allows him to quickly overcome most adversaries in martial combat. There are no unusual birthmarks on him, nor any type of tattoos, his flesh remaining as unmarred as the day he was born with it. Although his clothing is constantly changing Jun prefers long, luxurious silk yukatas, happis, hakimas, long pleated skirts and other traditional clothing of his people and seldom wears much else. The choice of his attire isn't entirely preference, as it flows best with his weapons and combat style since it doesn't inhibit his movement and disguises his footwork.

Skills: Excels with sword and spear, above average knowledge of warfare and tactics, skilled hunter and tracker, avid painter, proficient horse rider.

Abilities:

Demonic Physiology - Due to Jun's demonic heritage- he is faster, stronger and more physically durable than most mortals- capable of feats that shame peak humans. Jun is immune to fire, yet cannot swim in water and will drown if it's deep enough. He can breathe smoke as if it were oxygen and is irritated by sunlight to the point prolonged exposure burns his skin making him have a preference for nocturnal activity or at least keeping himself fully covered in daylight and averse to looking too high.

Demonic Transformation - When Jun would take a blow that's mortal, the demon within edges to the surface, shattering his disguise with a mind-shattering scream proceeded by a vortex of white light streaming from his distending jaw. In the wake of the chaos stands an eight foot tall creature conjured from a demented man's most terrifying nightmare, rippling with lean muscle, razor-sharp horns crowning his monstrous head and a prehensile tail swishing behind his back waiting to strike, barbs tracing its surface. His strength, speed and endurance are doubled, and his skin is replaced with a hard, leathery layer of red with pools of black occasionally dotting his flesh. None can reason with him as his single-minded focus is self-preservation and this can only be guaranteed by the death of anything living within sight.

Regeneration - Scratches heal themselves almost instantly and moderate wounds heal themselves at an accelerated rate.

Equipment:

Qiang (Spear) - An exotic spear tipped with a steel-spearhead. Its shaft is comprised of wax wood, a flexible but sturdy wood, and just beneath the blade is a red silk cord with one end hanging loose to mesmerize those who behold it.

Harabashi - Jun's trademark weapon, a beautifully crafted and razor-sharp steel katana housed in a midnight sheath.

Harasuna - A weapon rivaling the craftsmanship of Harabashi, Harasuna is a magnificent steel ninjato, similar in design to Harabashi but noticeably different due to its straight blade.

History:

A creature from a foreign land born of fire and smoke that adopted the flesh of the sheep to better masquerade through the world. Life was harsh and cruel where he grew up; and it still is, only it prepared him for the hardships ahead, bestowing him a predatory appetite for carnage. Although he isn't as violent as most of his kind - a trait which has led to his continued survival - Jun's a sucker for a good fight: cherishing any opportunity to test his steel against another's. For that reason he came to Corone; seeking potential challengers worthy of dying to his blade.

I'm guessing this isn't finished. Please post here again once you're done editing the profile.

This character is completely different than the previous one on this account. Hence the only way you can have it on this account is to reincarnate the previous one. In that case, you would be losing half your EXP. I just wanted you to know that. I would allow you to keep all EXP if the changes were minor and you were just switching things around. But as it is now, you'll be losing half of the EXP.

Anyways, now that that's out of the picture, I'm going to need you to do some edits. As this is a level zero profile, you can have only three abilities. However, each enhanced attribute and resistance is counted as a separate ability. Hence, with your enhanced strength and endurance and the fire resistance, you already have three in just the Demonic physiology. So you'll have to trim it down a bit.

I also need to know exactly how much stronger and more durable he is than a normal human.

Also, you can't have full fire resistance. Resistances should be minor at this point.

Lastly, in regards to Regeneration, I need to know how much faster do the moderate wounds heal? Twice as fast as normal seems fair at this point.

That is all.

That's why I gave him weaknesses to try and counter-balance the resistances. Because if you lose something, you're not truly gaining anything in the grand scheme, yeah? So if I remove the full resistance, and give him minor resistance to fire, would the weakness to water and sunlight allow me to still have it? I mean, turning into a rock in water and drowning seems a lot worse than having a slightly higher burning point than humans would be a benefit. I'm trying to establish how he's a different race, and his physiology is different. It'd be like assuming dark elves can see better in the dark than humans or any other common racial trait based on physiology. A fishman could probably swim underwater for long periods of time because he's part fish.

I'll get around to changing it asap.

I understand what you're trying to achieve, but I have to make sure that the character is in balance with other level zero characters. Because of that, I cannot allow you that many additional abilities, especially not in this situation where you're basically trying to trade in a situational weakness (after all, how many battles are fought in and around deep waters) for significant enhancement such as fire immunity.

Tell you what, if you drop the fire resistance to minor, get rid of the regeneration and set your basic attributes to 1.5 that of a normal human (strength, speed, endurance), I'll let you have the rest provided you put a time limit of one minute on the Transformation. That's the best I can do and even that is stretching the rules a bit.
