Wanting to transfer my exp to a new character

I have a new character in the works and I was wondering if I could transfer the xp I had on my old one to him even though it isn't a lot, it'd still be better than starting at ground zero.

Yes you may at a rate of half the old characters to the new one. This act retires the old character though and means that they are no longer a registered character.
