I'm new here, so please bear with me :)
Name: Tad MacLaren
Age: 9
Race: Half Fae
Hair Color: Red
Eye Color: Blue
Height: 4'3"
Weight: 65 lb
Personality: Tad is a rather mischievous child, gifted (burdened?) with an insatiable curiosity. He possesses a self
confidence unusual in a child his age, no doubt from his fey blood and upbringing. He is generally quite trusting unless
his instincts dictate otherwhise, and once earned his loyalty is unswerving. Tad can be rather stubborn once his mind is
made up about the way things should be.
Appearance: Tad is a slim young lad with a shock of unruly red hair adorning his head, often concealing the slight point of
his ears. His eyes, while normally a piercing blue, dance with green fire brought on by anger, fear, or other strong
emotion. His face is perpetually smudged with dirt, notated how recently he bathed. A mischievous grin and corresponding
twinkle in his eye often adorn his otherwise innocent looking face. When given his druthers, Tad would run around in
simply a breechclout. When weather or situation dictates otherwhise he might begrudgingly wear more substantial clothes,
but his feet remain bare.
History: Tad was born in a small village on the outskirts of the Concordia forests. A rather remote village, it's
inhabitants were rather more suspicious than your usual run-of-the-mill peasants. Tad's mother was a willful young woman,
frowned upon by most of the village. She preferred to spend her days wandering in the woods, and spent her time in the
village daydreaming and talking of the faerie folk. During one of her woodland strolls, she met and was seduced by a
stunning young man of the faerie folk. Though she never saw him again, her belly swelled with child. The village
grudgingly took care of her as her pregnancy progressed, but rumours flew about the identity of the father. When Tad was
born, the midwife cried out when she saw the green fire dancing in the babe's eyes. The villagers' prejudices reared its
ugly head and they exiled the young woman from their village, telling her to take her baby back to the forest, back to the
faerie folk. Neither were welcome. Tad's mother swaddled him and carried him with her, back to the forest where she
sought the child's father. Weakened from the childbirth, and still bleeding, the young woman lived only a few short days,
but as she was dying she saw the faerie folk one last time. She begged them to take her child, to raise it as their own,
and so they did.
