Hay guys, new player here. Well, new to Althanas; I can't say I'm new to writing or anything quite so alarming. I also apologize for the title, but I tend to be asinine.

So, anybody got any tips? As of yet I've discovered that this appears to be the place for introductions, but, uh... that's about it! Well, I figured out the character approval, but I figure that's a given.

Really I'm looking for the appropriate place to try my hand at this character and this site; I actually have no idea what I'm doing under this overthought introduction ^_^

Hello, there! It's always good to see new faces around here.

A good way to get started is probably to check out the quest and battle recruitment forum (http://www.althanas.com/world/forumdisplay.php?170-The-Recruiting-Forum) - this is where people post their ideas for stories, and where you can sign up to join. At the moment, you have The Puppeteer's Praxes, which is currently underway (but still open), and set in Corone. Mordelain is also recruiting for another thread there, "A Hello to Arms". If you like, you can also put up your own recruitment thread and try to get people to join.

Then again, any thread which says 'open' should be fine to join, so long as they haven't already met the maximum number of participants. If you're doing that, just quickly check that the latest posts look recent (you probably don't want to post in a thread which has ground to a halt), and that it hasn't concluded, obviously.

I think that covers everything (so far). I look forward to seeing Dusk in action! And if you're ever in Corone, feel free to drop Otto a line. He's a smith too, so I'm sure they'd get on like a house on fire.
