The Vex, an island made out of a seemingly unbreakable rock, obsidian some say, and other argue it is alien. Yet it is truly hardened blood of the immortal demon lord Xaxan, and it is alien. From the planet Argus he hails, and he spilled so much blood to make this and animate it. But the truly fascinating thing on it is the tower situated behind white walls of brick. It is made of a black stone, and contains only three objects, The Stone, The Staff, and The Spear. This is the Tower of Prophecy, one of the five magic towers raised from the stone and blood of Argus, and also the Tomb of Xaxan.
This is where the Sunwell was created, and this is the thing that was sent off to fulfill the premonition of another world called Althanas. In this place, a single orb also rests, once called the "Heart of Argus" but is now called "Visus" or Sight, for it is the first of the five stones of seeing.
