Vampire's Keep Dance Party (Closed to Recruited)

[Vampire Of Grace]

If one was to walk into the halls of Vampire's Keep, they would be greeted with a two rows of five Statues that held up the ceiling of the hall. These statues were the gods of Grace. Ten statues, ten gods, all with equal power.

Thran, God of Storms, stood at the front left and had long hair that struck out like lightning, embedding itself into the ceiling as well as traveled to the floor. His hands held out in front of him, the right one holding a rain cloud, the left holding a thunder bolt. His robes were made out of the clouds themselves, keeping him hidden from view as the hood was up.

Shona, Goddess of the Ocean, stood at the front right and had a crown made of coral. her eyes were flat, no pupil visible in the statue's eyes. Her skin also made out of coral. Her right hand was held out in front of her while her left held a book. This was her magic book from which she called upon the seas. Her robes were made out of fish scale that were said to be able to repel any arrow.

Ron, God of Volcanoes, stood behind Thran and was a fire golem that actually is made of the molten magma itself. his right hand held a sword that was supposedly made of diamond, and a shield of molten rock. However, he was a gentle spirit that would protect all creature that got in the path of a volcano's furry. His robe was made straight from his head. It came out of the top and encased him, leaving an opening for his face. Wherever he walked, magma would be left behind from his cloak.

Traya, Goddess of Winds, stood behind Shona and was a winged woman that was said to be able to summon tornadoes by just flapping her wings. She wore a robe like all of the gods, this one however was just a regular robe with holes for his wings. Her hood was up just like the rest of them keeping her face hidden from view. Her wings were held back as her arms were held high keeping the ceiling off her wings.

Brono, God of the Mountains, stood behind Ron, skin was made of stone, and his body was as hard as Platinum. He held a platinum two-handed sword as he was posed to attack. His robes were made of the earth itself and just would clack as he walked.

Simora, Goddess of the Island Waters, stood behind Traya. Her entire body was made of water and her robes of never melting ice. She held a jar of water that was said to make a man sick if she splashed it on them. However, it had never killed anyone.

Som, God of Trees, stood behind Brono. He was a tree shaped man that was said to take care of the forests of Grace. His robe was made out of moss and he carried a bag of seeds that when it touches another's skin, would embed itself into them and grow on them, eventually encasing them in a tree. Horrible way to die.

Lama, Goddess of the Plains, stood behind Simora. She wore a grass robe that she had made herself. She also had a bag of seeds. However, these seeds were grass and crops. she would plant them and they'd instantly grow hiding her from view so that she could sneak up on her opponent and snap their necks. None opposed her.

Shol, God of Death, stood behind Som. Shol was a zombie that had kept his sentience. Because of this he was revered as a god, not only by the humans of Grace, but all the undead as well. His cloak was made of bones. This is one of the only two gods that are still seen by the people of grace to this day. His hands were reached out as if he was about to grab somebody.

Lomah, Goddess of Life, stood behind Lama. Her body is as smooth can as be. Her face was like an angel. Her robes was made out of a luminescent material that was said to grant any who look on it good health. It is said that if you are visited by her, you are going to have a baby.

Ten Gods, keeping the island in balance. True, not something you would expect from a place called Vampire's Keep, but if you knew the history of Vampire's Keep, you would know that this place was once Grace's Temple of the Gods. Now however, the temple has been tainted with one of Althanas's Curse Beings, a vampire.

At the end of the hall sat a coffin made of pure birch from Dolinac Forest. Inside the coffin slept the vampire, Lord Silvidar, his skin, pasty white, not a blemish adorned his naked body. His eyes were closed, keeping anyone foolish enough to disturb his slumber from seeing his eyes. His lips, as red as the blood he drinks, mesmerizing and irresistible. His ears, pointed like an elf's. All in all, a body any male would wish for as any woman would drool over it.

Suddenly, the vampire's eyes shot open unveiling blood red eyes as he sat up, looking around. The sun had just set and the torches suddenly came to life, as if they themselves were alive. The vampire got up out of his coffin as three female vampires came rushing in with his outfit for the day.

"Saldora!" he called as a woman dressed him in his golden undergarments. Another woman came running into the hall from one of the many doors that ran along the hall.

"Yes my lord?" she asked calmly.

"How much longer till the dance?" Silvidar asked her as another woman put a red robe with golden trimming around him and a leather belt tightened to hold it together.

"Tonight sir," Saldora answered as she looked at the clipboard that was in her hand.

"Tonight huh? Well then, I shall see you tonight," Silvidar said as a golden cape that reached the floor was draped over his shoulders and held in place by an oval broach with a bat carved in the center and six rubies that surrounded the bat. Once finished the women left him as he placed his pointed shoes on his feet before transforming into a bat to find his meal for the night.

[General Quintet]

That night the General Quintet was up on a stage that was in the Vampire's Keep Dance Hall. A giant space in the Church that has always been used for dance parties. "Okay, it's time to open the doors for the party," Tracy said in his deep voice. Suddenly the doors in the dance hall opened and a group of vampires was standing outside the doors.

"Welcome ladies and gentlemen, we shall begin, the first song is Feel the Rush. May you enjoy the dance!"

As the music started all the vampires Samba walked on the dance floor, the front foot moved forward as both knees bent once the foot stopped before the back leg straightened and the front foot was pulled back, repeating this movement till they were in position on the dance floor where all the women were spun as the men held up his his their right hands and guided their partner with their left.

The vampires started dancing in alternating directions in rings.

The vampires stopped and the females spun as the men guided them with their hands.

Then everyone started to move back and forth as they spun in circles keeping pace with the beat every once in a while a lady would roll over their partners shoulders to land on the other side.

Everyone started moving in the rings again as they continued to swing their hips and the ladies spin.

Suddenly they all stopped and started to rotate as they stepped once in a while they'd do a lift or a twist.

Everyone stopped on the final note and clapped.


"Okay everybody," Tracy called out, "now that we're all on the dance floor, stay where you are as we will now start the special guests dances. First up is the future King and Queen of the Northern Seas, Sorish and Korra who will be dancing the ChaCha.

[Brand]

Brand looked up at the men, wearing dashing suits that matched. He looked down at his blood red suit, it matched his eyes, and then the cloak, outlined in dancing flame, and slightly reflective. The cliak was fastened with a simple chain, the links intricately carved. He smiled at it. He continued leaning against the pillar he was at, and clapped as the Guest Dance started.

"Good good. I should hope Silvidar gets here soon. I await his dress."

As the others flooded in he waited, his eyes glowing in their ominous way, and his suit, now smoking from the buildup of magic in his body, settling after being hastily pulled from the Aether. And his cloak simply vanished, for some reason, stopping existence. Brand frowned slightly but brightened as his partner walked over to him.

"Kvalna! Good to see you here, i was thinking you wouldn't come!"

She laughed, and smiled brightly, and responded

"To miss being with my favourite Mage? No, and i love dances!"

She and Brand traded news from their latest travels, and then held hands and waited for their turn to dance, Brand subtly pulling out a small wood box, about the size of a ring.

Smoke billowed across the dance floor as the lights dimmed to a sea green giving a mystical sea feel. The room was completely still no one dared move, even when the General Quintet started to sing.

Get this party started on a Saturday night.

Suddenly there was a flash as the giant doors at the end of the hall flew open and out came Sorish in a Pure White, Sparkling, Three Piece, Fish Scale Tuxedo with a White Cape and Korra in a Rainbow Colored, Sparkling, Ballgown Came out through the doors holding hands and the other held up high. A white light shone on them as they entered the dance floor. Their hips moved to the beat as they entered the dance floor as they swerved through the vampires who started to spin and twist in place, every once in a while a pair would stop to do the fan. His cape making the fan more realistsc.

All the vampires cha-cha-ed to the edges to give Sorish and Korra more room to move. Sorish lead Korra to the center. Sorish on the left with Korra on the right, their hands in the middle hooked together as their other hands spread wide to form a fan before they come back together just to do it again another 3x reversing sides each time.

Suddenly, Sorish and Korra turned around and Slid their feet backwards doing the moon walk. Their outfits flowed as if they were the sea itself.

The Vampires started to circle Sorish and Korra as they went into a series of Under Arm Turns (Sorish moved Korra under his right arm as they turned, Lariats (Sorish stepped in place and turned as Korra circled him), and ended with a rope spin (Sorish led Korra into a spin and ended with a Lariat.)

Sorish and Korra then entered into an embrace as they swayed to the beat.

All the Vampire returned to the dance floor as Sorish and Korra headed to the middle of the dance floor all synced together as they spun in circles.

Every Vampire held up their hand as Sorish Spun Korra as he lowered her into a sitting position in front of him and he was kneeled down behind her both looked at each other their breath in sync.

After the song ended Sorish & Korra kissed before Sorish helped Korra up as all the vampires clapped around them.

[General Quintet]

"Well done!" Tracy voiced as he started got ready to announce the next dancers. "Can we have another round of applause for Sorish and Korra!" All the vampires clapped as Sorish and Korra headed for the VIP lounge where they could rest before the final dance.

"Next up is one of your Undead Brother and Sister Grond the Zombie and his partner Hilda dancing the Samba!"

[Dead & Walking]

The music started to play as Grond and Hilda Slowly moved out across the dance floor.

"Not the best song for us zombies is it Hilda?" Grond asked as though the beat was fast they moved slowly through a few twists and turns.

"I agree," Hilda replied.

Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl
With yellow feathers in her hair and a dress cut down to there
She would merengue and do the cha-cha
And while she tried to be a star
Tony always tended bar
Across the crowded floor, they worked from 8 til 4
They were young and they had each other
Who could ask for more?

They continued to move slowly. Suddenly, Grond accidentally stepped on Hilda's right foot. "I'm sorry dear guess I have two left feet."

Hilda smiled then said, "Well then guess we'll have to get you a right one won't we?" She asked. A few of the vampires chuckled as did Grond. however most just hung their head because of the zombie joke.

"I guess so."

"You know, I think I need some help with my gown, it seems to be having trouble staying off the floor," Hilda commented. "Mind giving me a hand?"

Grond lifted had them separate from each other for a second grabbed his left hand then gave it to Hilda. "Here you go my dear, one hand to help hold up your dress."

All the vampires sighed.

Grond then lifted Hilda, at least tried to but his arms fell off. "Well that was a falling attempt," grond said, but everyone even Hilda moaned.

"That was just a bad pun Grond, Hilda told him as she picked herself up and handed him his arms which he reattached intently.

"Thank you my dear," he said as they continued the dance.

At the copa... she lost her love

Grond continued to lead Hilda through the crowd, suddenly his jaw fell off. Hilda just laughed then asked, "Am I worth dropping your jaw Grond?"

Grond only looked at her then picked up his jaw before he said, "Of course, why do you think I chose for you to accompany me?"

Hilda just laughed.

As the song finished all the Vampires just looked at them then turned to wait for the next group.

Tracy finished the song then coughed. "That was Grond & Hilda. Clap if you choose." A few vampires clapped but not many as Grond and Hilda walked up to the VIP Lounge.

"Next up, dancing the Mombo is Ellenora and his partner!"

[Forbidden]

A man stumbled to the stage from the shadows, smoke encircling his head from the cigarette tucked betwixt his lips, ice clinking in his scotch. The drooping jaw and sightless eyes did not diminish the charm of Dean Martin's reanimated corpse.

"Scuze me to tootsie," he slurred at Tracy as he took the microphone, "the King of Cool's got a number to lay down." He winked broadly and then calmly replaced his eyeball from where it had plopped in his drink. "Leeches and Gentledeadies, let me introduce the Lady, the Ancient Vampyre, Ellenora Sekuerba Pope and her escort, Lou Costello!"

Ellenora strode elegantly to the center of the floor with Lou waddling at her elbow, pinning bowler hat to head with his free hand and sweating profusely.

The Ancient Vampyre had dropped an anvil's weight in gold assembling her wardrobe. Arched delyn stilettos supported her slimly muscled legs. The glassy metal flashed in torchlight and reflected the hall full of undead social elite. Ellenora swallowed - not out of nerves, she assured herself, but to savor the aftertaste of her last meal. Elven blood. Ever since the Raiaeran massacre, the fine vintage had become plentiful in Corone, but rarer than ever. She hoped the casks she'd brought along with her would earn her some powerful new allies this night. But first, the dance.

Her and Lou took up position, and the band found Martin's rhythm.

Ellenora's tight white dress - so close to her skin tone it seemed scandalous! - whispered and her lacy black shawl snapped as she danced around Lou. She pranced like a deer, turning sharply and waving her arms in time to the beat. Lou faltered on the first step and fell to his knees but she made it work, hooking a leg around his shoulders so he lifted her as he stood at the crescendoing turn to refrain.

"Other dancers may be on the floor
dear but my eyes will see only you
only you have a that magic technique
when we sway I grow weak..."

Lou put too much muscle into spinning Ellenora and staggered headfirst into the bandstand. Dean Martin laughed and helped Costello up as the General Quintet good-naturedly reassembled their instruments.

"I'm so sorry!" Lou cried, palms upraised, "I had a few drinks before I came here to calm my nerves."

"Easy there kid," Martin grinned, dusting off Costello's corduroy jacket, "you're not drunk if you can lie on the floor without holding on. Get back in there!"

Lou raced back to his partner and struck a pose. Ellenora shuffle-stepped and high-kicked around him, coming comically closer to his face each time while Lou perspired visibly and pulled faces at the crowd.

The rest of the crowd joined them on the floor amongst congratulatory shouts throughout the final instrumental section. Ellenora felt her dead, nerveless heart swell with pride. Tonight would be a success, she knew it.

They finished the number near the bandstand, and Ellenora joined the other vampires in applauding while Lou clutched a stitch in his side and limped to the bandstand.

"Say fella'," Martin remarked, "that flapper cleopatra really did a number on you huh?"

Ellenora looked down her nose at the King of Cool but could not hide a smile. The band was tuning for the next number, and she needed to find a dance partner with younger legs.

[General Quintet]

After all the instruments were tuned after the crash that Lou caused, Tracy walked up to the microphone. "Thank you for your patients. May you give a round of applause for Lou and Ellenora!" All the vampires clapped as Lou and Ellenora went up towards the VIP Lounge.

"Okay, The next dance is children so please clear the stage so that these two have room to dance. It is the coralians Ethen & Sanderia!"

The music started as Ethen and Sanderia started to turn quick out onto the dance floor.

There used to be a graying tower alone on the sea.

"I can't believe Sorish & Korra is making us do this. It is so embarrassing," Sanderia said as she looked out at the crowd.

"Hey, if it's the crowd don't look at them, just look at me and let me lead, that way if we mess up it would be my fault okay, now lets just dance, you and me," Ethen said as he pulled her into another walk rotation around the room.

Sanderia face turned purple as she blushed before she smiled and let Ethen take complete control.

Ethen and Sanderia went to the center were the spun slowly for a while before Ethen dipped Sanderia, their lips close. Sanderia debated whether to pull up to kiss him but before she could Ethen pulled them up to continue the dance.

Ethen and Sanderia continued another round the room. "Ethen, I.." Sanderia went quiet before she could say any more, she loved Ethen but it just felt weird considering that Sorish and Korra were dating.

"Sanderia?" Ethen asked as he started to head towards the center again.

"It's nothing," Sanderia replied as the continued to dance.

Ethen walked towards the center then spun them again before he dipped her. He hopped she would have pulled up slightly and kiss him, but she still didn't, it upset him but they needed to continue the dance. So, he pulled her up and continued on.

They stayed in the center as they spun reversed, dipped. Spun reversed dipped. Each time Ethen gave Sanderia a little time to try to pull up. but she never did. After about three times he lead her around the room.

Sanderia was flustered after those few dips. She could have sworn, not in the bad way, that Ethen had gotten closer each time. But she didn't want to be wrong and cause strife in their relationship so she kept quiet as Ethen lead them yet again into the center.

Ethen spun again but this time didn't dip her. He was going to wait till the end of the song to do that.

As the song started slow down so did Ethen and Sanderia and once the last words were finishing Ethen lead them into a dip. He got as close as he could but did not touch.

After the song ended Ethen and Sanderia both decided they would make the first move and both smashed lips with each other. All the vampires and even the General Quintet clapped as they held their kiss for a minute. Sorish and Korra had come out of the VIP Lounge to watch their dance and smiled before they headed in to keep the kids in the dark that they knew of the kiss.

[General Quintet]

"Lets hear it for Ethen and Sanderia!" Tracy said as the two young lovers went up to the VIP Lounge. A giant round of applause was heard throughout the ballroom.

"Next up is Brand and Kvalna doing the Tango!"

[General Quintet]

After a short wait a vampire ran up onto stage and handed Tracy a note. After he skimmed the note Tracy said, "It seems that Brand and Kvalna is not able to make so we shall continue on to our host! Will everyone put their hands together and welcome Silvidar and Saldora as they dance the Slow Waltz!"

[Vampire Of Grace]

The music started as moved slowly out onto the dance floor hand in hand. As the lyrics began the pair started to walk to their right and slowly spun to the left as they moved across the dance floor. As they got to the crowed they dipped slightly before they acted as if they bounced off the crowed and went towards left but slightly behind to make a 35o angle.

As they continued to move they looked each other in the eye as they spun slowly to the left. They're feet almost touched as they moved. They dance was graceful and many of the vampires swooned as they watched their leader dance to the music.

As the song continued to play the couple reached the lower end of the stage and "bounced off" at a 90o angle as the started to spin slowly to the right again.

As the song continued Silvidar decided that the silence had gone on long enough and spoke. "My dear, if you were human I'd probably suck your blood right now.

Silvidar felt down that his advance didn't work so he tried a different tactic. "My dear, your dress fits you perfectly." Saldora's dress was a red princess gown that showed enough cleavage to attract the attention of a man, but not enough to be just inappropriate.

"Thank you," she said without much emotion. Silvidar just sighed as they continued the dance.

After a while Saldora sighed. "If you want to know, it is the anniversary of the death of mother, the woman that you killed last year.

Silvidar was shocked but kept a straight face as they continued.

"I'm sorry that happened my dear, she was a beautiful women. However, that fire wasn't my fault. it was proven to have been an attempt by the king to try to get rid of us vampires." He looked her in the eyes. "You know, you look just like her?"

Saldora looked at her father in shock. "Really?"

Silvidar looked at his daughter with love, "Yes my dear."

As the song ended Silvidar brought Sandora into a hug. "I know you miss her dear, just like I do, but we have to continue the tradition she started. It is an important way to honor her memory."

Sandora cried into her dads chest as he lead her up to the VIP Lounge. "Tracy!" he called back to the band. "We are done dancing for tonight! Please tell the chefs to bring out the tables for the dinner portion of the night!" then entered the lounge to calm down his daughter and host his guests.

Tracy nodded then called out, "You heard him! Chefs, bring out the tables and lets get the banquet started!" the band then started to play some background music as the tables were wheeled out and the other vampires were seated.

[Vampire Of Grace]

Silvidar walked into the VIP lounge, Sandora still in his arms. The VIP lounge was a lot smaller then the dance hall but it still was gorgeous. It had purple curtains lined the giant picture window that looked out onto the dance floor. In front of the window was three rows of twelve seats. Inside these seats sat the other VIP Dancers that had danced that night.

Behind the seats a table had been set up for the dinner portion of the dinner. There was five seats on each side with two seats at the two ends of the table. Silvidar sat Sandora at one end of the table and then sat at the other end of the table. "Will you all please take a seat in your assigned seats?"

The seating was in order of the planned order with Sorish closest to Silvidar and Brand closest to Sandora. Each couple sat across from each other so that they could talk and even just stare into each other's eyes.

The food was ordered before they even came so each received their chosen food almost as soon as they sat down. Silvidar had just gotten a wine glass of blood as did Sandora.

Sorish sat down next to Silvidar and right across from Korra, he didn't like the fact that Sanderia and Ethen was separated from them but he really couldn't do much about it. He had chosen to get a local fish dish as did Korra. The fish looked delicious. It was on a plate that looked to be made of polished granite. It had lettuce beneath it. The fish itself looked to be a red salmon. Sorish cut into the fish and sighed with delight. It was the most delicious fish he had ever tasted.

Grond and Hilda sat across from each other and just tore into their human flesh. It wasn't as good as the fresh stuff but it would do.

Ellenora preferred the private dining room to the great hall. Although she adored the dance, she was habituated to enclosed spaces. She had grown up underground after all.

"Aren't the drapes lovely, Dean?" She asked the King of Cool. Martin had been a true gentleman in accompanying her in Lou's place. Costello was still laying on the dance floor, receiving drunken medical attention from a disbarred Ai'Brone healer.

"Say baby, could you be a sweetheart and fetch me a fresh scotch?" Martin asked one of the young vampire waitresses. Ignoring his date was the King of Cool's thing.

Ellenora sighed and smoothed her tight white dress. She picked up a crystal goblet and sampled the fine blood within. A fine vintage indeed. Martin could keep his scotches and sodas and strange frozen waters. She loved the taste of blood. And Martin was a fine specimen... a pity he was so corpsified, the blood of the dead would glob in her stomach.

"So," Nora said to the table at large, trying to start a conversation, "how has everyone's efforts in taking over Althanas and destroying or feeding off the living been going? It certainly is rough in the wilderness of Concordia." She enjoyed another sip of blood, hoping someone would break the silence.

Sanderia and Ethen looked at the vampire with wide eyes. "Um, we don't do such things. We're just travelers. Though Big Brother will be King of the Seas soon and live in the castle beneath our feet."
