Just a heads up...

Just thought I'd let people know that for the next month I'll be relatively inactive. I have a exemption exam either next week or the week after that and then I'll be starting up my trade school in September, hopefully level 2. If I don't pass the exam, then it'll be level 1, yay... The school is day release, so I only go one day a week, but it'll take me some time to find a good balance for the homework and such.

So, for those of you waiting on a thread from me: Twitch, Pavel and possibly some other people, I apologize, but it will be a bit longer.

And for those of you I'm currently writing with, I'll still be here, but obviously my life and career take precedence over Althanas threads. Cyd, our thread is top on my list when I get a chance.

As for Dirks, the only thing I can say is, talk to me again in a month.

Well, I studied my ass off and I'm pretty sure it made not a lick of difference. I'm about 80% sure I just failed that exemption test. So I lost a day of work and paid $170 for nothing. Yay...

Thanks guys... it's hard to stay positive when I struggled through that damn thing. I just keep smashing my head off the walls and telling myself I'm a freaking idiot. It's not like I don't know how to do my job, and quite frankly I know I must be good at it to some degree because I got a pretty good raise this year, it's that I'm not very good at theory. Practical applications and problem solving, sure, but the theory part of it...not so much. *sigh* Just have to wait and see... that's all I can do. God the waiting part is the worst...

At the end of last year, I had one unit I was sure I had bombed in. I'd lost my copy of one of the assignments, procrastinated and handed in a last-minute final report which I had written with a clumsy, sleep-deprived brain (and it was late, to boot), and found myself struggling through the exam. I got a distinction for the unit.

So, like Aur said. Stay positive!
