Who here has watched the most recent episode of Naruto in Japanese (English Sub) (EP326)?
What was your thoughts on it and what emotions did it evoke?
To me it was an exciting episode, little fighting action but a lot of emotional turmoil. We find out the the Kyubii is named Kurama and that she has had a lot of hurt by people. Because of this he is hesitant to accept Naruto as a friend. We also learn that all the other buji feel the same way with humans due to most only wanting them with power.
This episode provoked great sadness and hope in me to the point I was on the verge of tears. All of Kurama's pain is understandable as is his anger. I mean if my first container said, "When you exert your power, you draw hatred to you. Please stay quiet inside me." I would believe that all containers would have that bias. The second container says "This is unfortunate for both of us.. You may be here to keep the world in check, but I'm here to watch you." I would feel like I'm being held prisoner, like I'm an unwanted criminal for just being alive. I understand just by watching this episode the pain Kurama holds inside him for they made it so that we are Kurama.
